Critically Endangered Newborn Gibbon Is Stupid Cute!

The Gibbon Conservation Center in sunny SoCal is booming with life!!
A Northern White-cheeked Gibbon was just born at the center and it’s so cute and tiny!
The little baby has pink skin and light colored hair.
His mama is a light, golden color while the papa is dark dark dark!
He’s gonna get darker, if he’s a boy, otherwise, he’ll only slightly darken when he gets older and we’ll call him “her” instead because he’d be a girly girllll.
The best part is he’s not the only one├óΓé¼┬ª six new infants have been born in the past 18 months!
The center is certainly doing something right! The gibbons must all be happy and healthy.
This gibbon species has only about 500 left in the wild so it’s super important that their numbers are shored up in captive breeding programs.
So thankful for the Gibbon Conservation Center! Way to go!!
