Looks like this Emmy/Golden Globe award-winning series now has another OSCAR winning actress!

We've just learned that Shirley MacLaine has joined the cast of Downton Abbey for its third season, which premieres on UK network ITV this fall! U.S. audiences will be able to check out the show on PBS' Masterpiece Classic in early 2013.

Shirley is set to star as Martha Levinson, the "mother of American-born Lady Grantham (Elizabeth McGovern)."

Coldplay played around with MacBook Photo Booth effects for their latest live performance of Paradise at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday.

Okay, maybe it was a little more advanced than Photo Booth, but they did have some super cool neon and graffiti backdrops.

Shakira gave a beautiful performance at the NRJ Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday, singing in French.

The singer performed Je L'aime A Mourir while wearing a beautiful gown as cherry blossom petals floated around her.

We think it's pretty safe to say that The Artist is going to win big this award season.

The silent film already won Best Picture Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes. And this weekend, The Artist director Michel Hazanavicius won the top honor, receiving the Outstanding Director of the Year award at the DGA Awards.

They hit the stage at the 2012 NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France with a medley of Party Rock Anthem and Sexy And I Know It and man, we have heart palpitations just watching them. So.Much.Energy!!

Justin Bieber showed up to the NRJ Awards at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France on Saturday showing off his new darker 'do and ridiculous blue jacket.

The Biebs flashed his pearly whites as he crossed the red carpet, not worrying one bit what anyone thought of his outfit. LOL.

No, but srsly, he can totally get away with it, so who cares?!

It was a good night for Justin. He ended up taking home the NRJ Award of Honor.

But of course! These kids aren't just smartypants — they also have a few screws loose!

Yesterdary, Claire Danes was honored in Cambridge, MA with a parade through town and a fairly odd awards ceremony held by the Harvard Hasty Pudding Theatricals. As their Woman of the Year, she was treated to an escorted ride through the campus with two of the most decked out drag queens we've ever seen, and a roast where the crew had Claire complete "classes" to FINALLY earn her college degree! (She dropped out of Yale, a "community college" to Harvard's standards.)

When all the fun was done — and as you can see, Claire totally played along — Claire graciously accepted her Pudding Pot, calling the whole experience "wackadoodle," "utterly trippy," and one that "will remain forever emblazoned in my mind."

Yeah, we think that is the idea. Now your Emmy, SAG and three Golden Globes have someone new to talk to on the mantle! LOL!

Taylor Swift? More like YAYlor Swift!

The ACM nominations are out looks like T-Swizzle is the big winner so far!

Last year, she walked away with the coveted "Entertainer of the Year" award at the ACMs and this year, she could do it all over agian!

She's the only female artist who has THREE noms, including "Entertainer of the Year," "Female Vocalist" and "Video of the Year" for Mean.

So, SO impressive!
