The one person most responsible for the existence of Brooke Shields- the model/actress and the person- has died.
Teri Shields, Brooke's mother, managed her career early on- and we mean early! She put her daughter in a Dove soap ad at 11 months old!
This is a little girl's dream come true!
Brooke Shields brought her gorgeous daughters Rowan Francis Henchy and Grier Francis Henchy to the Barbie's Dream Closet event at the David Rubenstein Atrium during it's Fashion Week event in New York.
Other celebs on hand were Kelly Rutherford and her daughter, Kelly Bensimon and her daughters, Rose McGowan, and others.
Another highlight of the evening was seeing a group of girls dressed as various Barbie dolls over the years walking around the event.
She's over 50 years old and she's still the most fashionable lady around.

Perfect mother and morning talk show host (and possible robot?) Kelly Ripa, hosted a very special early screening of Lion King 3D in NYC Saturday.
Kelly brought her cute kids Michael, Lola and Joaquin to mingle with the stars and (we assume) cry under their 3D glasses.
Other celebs that walked the red carpet before viewing the rerelease of the 1994 classic include: Brooke Shields and kids Rowan and Grier, Christy Turlington with husband Ed Burns and thier children Grace and Finn, Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl) & her son, and Billy Crudup.
