The power of dogs is incredible!
A 73-year-old man named James Wathen was confounding his doctors over at Baptist Health Corbin in Corbin, Kentucky when his health began deteriorating and he refused to eat for seemingly reasons beyond them.
But nurses realized James was upset about not being with his a one-eyed Chihuahua named Bubba. The two had been separated since James first was taken to the hospital.
Well, nurses were able to figure out that the dog had been taken to a foster family through the Knox-Whitley animal shelter, and on October 11th — a reunion of epic proportions took place!
Here's what Deanna Myers, the Director of the Knox Whitley Animal Shelter, said online
And you thought Fight Club was only for humans!
We're not sure how these two got into a room together, but someone posted a YouTube video of a tiger cub and a chihuahua going at it, in a friendly style, and the one winning may surprise you!
It was the
This is one dog whose bark is truly bigger than her bite!
Sadie the Chihuahua must have been HUN-GRY, because she did whatever it took to keep her pal Foxey away from their dish of food!
Here’s the thing though - Foxey is like, four-times the size of Sadie!
Owner Kenny Grant captured it all on
In Maryvale, Arizona there's an interesting problem: large packs of wild chihuahuas are running loose!
All it takes is a few unspayed stray dogs to blow up a wild pup population, and that's just what happened in this Arizona town.
There are apparently so many packs of wild chihuahuas roaming around,
This is def an unlikely couple, but that just makes this all the cuter!
Penny the silkie chicken and Roo the two-legged chihuahua were both rescued by Alicia Williams of Duluth Animal Hospital.
In a super cute turn of events, the two have become an inseparable pair.
They strut around together, they play together and they even nap together. Which is probably so adorable that if you look directly at it, you'll go blind.
Penny the chicken was rescued first from a lab, Alicia said:
Aww! This is so sad!
Elwood, who was crowned the world's ugliest dog in 2007, has sadly passed away. He was 8-years-old.
The canine's owner Karen Quigley said her adorably ugly pooch died on Thanksgiving morning after months of health problems, although the death was unexpected.
The Chinese crested and Chihuahua mix had become something of a cultural phenomenon after winning his ugliest dog crown in 2007.
Since then, the pooch has appeared at hundreds of events, and also helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for animal rescue organizations and other animal care groups.
In fact, Elwood's owner Karen Quigley wrote a children's book based on her puppy called Everyone Loves Elwood. Its message is that it's okay to
Katharine McPhee is such a good dog momma she'd brave the Canadian cold to walk her pups!
Especially cause her pups are chihuahuas, that means tiny bladders, so a walk (or carry) was extra important.
Her pups Larry and Nena, one being walked and the other getting carried, are so super cute!
We absolutely love their little holiday sweaters! So crazy perezcious!
Guess she's decided to start concentrating on taking care of her furry family instead of making out with married men.
Glad that the affair is over and her pups are getting grade-A treatment!
Now we bet she's concentrating on her new Hallmark TV Movie In My Dreams which is filming in Vancouver.
Lookin' good there, Katharine!
