Proud papa!

Chris Daughtry posted this adorable picture on his Twitter page yesterday of himself holding his new lil' additions to the family.

He tweeted the the twins were doing well and that he is just so "in love" with them.

Aw! So precious! Look how tiny they are! Adorbs!

Yay! Double the pleasure sleepless nights, double the fun!

This morning, Chris Daughtry and his wife Deanna welcome two beautiful fraternal twins. Chris announced the news via his website, saying that they have a new daughter Adalynn Rose and son Noah James. He added:

"Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God. The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love and prayers."

Aw! So nice! We can't wait to see all the cuteness!

And he's getting some help from his friends!

When Sony Music Chief Creative Officer Clive Davis suggested that Carlos Santana take on legendary songs, the famous guitarist had second thoughts. -

He said:

"I was like, 'No, I don't know if I want to do this one, Clive. This one's a little challenging.' And he would stay on the phone for at least 45 minutes to an hour, three times in one year, and I was like, 'Oh, lord…' But then I started realizing that someone with that intense passion of commitment couldn't be wrong, so I had to trust him. And it was incredible."

The untitled album is due out in September and the track list sounds amazeballs! Collaborations include Rob Thomas on Cream's Sunshine of Your Love, Joe Cocker on Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing, Scott Weiland on the Rolling Stones' Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Chris Daughtry on Def Leppard's Photograph, Chris Cornell on Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love, Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix on Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water and Nas on AC/DC's Back in Black.

He added:

"What I brought to the table is my heart, knowing that I complement, I don't compete. I brought my heart, trusting that there's enough in me of purity and innocence and genuineness that I couldn't possible, excuse the expression, fuck it up. I know Eric (Clapton). I know Jeff Beck. I know Jimmy Page. And they know me. I have supreme certainty and confidence that they're going to say, 'Hey man, I love what you did with my song."

Sounds incredible. We can't wait!

On Sunday, Kelly Clarkson surprised Daugtry's audience in Nashville by performing a duet with her fellow Idol alum!

It's soulful! It's seksi! We love it!

Former Idol finalist Chris Daughtry took to his web site to announce that him and his wife and Deanna are expecting twins this November.

He wrote:

"Deanna and I are overjoyed about this double blessing. Thank you for your expressions of love and support and for respecting for our privacy during this special time."

The couple already have two children.

Nothing like the original!

Though we are a little surprised Carrie Underwood didn't take the lead, its a well deserved accolade for Kelly Clarkson to say that she, over any other American Idol contestant, has been the most successful.

Though Carrie can say that she has sold more overall albums than Kelly, America's first Idol boasts the highest Track Sales and Radio Plays.

Of course, Carrie came in second, with Chris Daughtry in third, Jordin Sparks in fourth and David Cook in fifth.
