Heather Cox Coe, from Elkin, North Carolina, is a wonderful woman who needs some help.
She was actually a Top 20 finalist on the 5th season of America Idol!
Sadly, after a check up for headaches, she discovered she had a brain tumor. Heather was diagnosed with a pineal gland tumor in the center of her brain, back in 2010.
Doctors originally wanted to perform a very dangerous operation to remove it. Thankfully she found another doc, willing to perform a less invasive surgery.
Problem is she needs money!
Thankfully, with help from other Idol alumni, like Chris Daughtry, along with the support of her husband and three kids, she’s raised the initial $30,000 she needs for her surgery!!
After reaching this goal, she said:

That’s so amazing! But there’s further to go!
She still needs to raise $70,000 to cover all the costs!
