Matthew McConaughey has undergone one of those crazy weight loss plans for a role that only so many actors have ever done.

Christian Bale and, most recently, Anne Hathaway come to mind.

It's just crazy to see a guy who was so muscular and already had so little fat, drop a whopping 38-pounds!!

Even though he's looking dangerously skinny nowadays, he says that he's still healthy!

The Baltimore Batman went streaking through a Ravens game recently!

We guess he's called the "Batman" because he wore a cape?

This streaker must've trained a little too, because he had some pretty sweet moves.

Though his cape did turn out to be his downfall when it was grabbed by a security guard.

We think Christian Bale would've gone for longer (and hopefully nakeder).

Christian Bale took a trip to the gym on Thursday in Manhattan. The actor wore black gym attire, while subbing his Batman mask for a pair of black sunglasses instead.

Considering this guy is about to take on Tom Hardy as Bane, he may need to pump all the iron he can get his hands on to compete!

Christian Bale decided that to be Batman, he has to stay in tip-top shape — so he's getting in some push ups while on set!

We can only imagine that Christopher Nolan is directing him from out of frame, and that the push ups are a grittier reboot of the ones we used to know.

Christian Bale is once again transforming his body for a movie role.

This time he’s gaining more muscle to play Batman in the new film, Dark Knight Rises.

Said a source:

“Christian prepares for every role as if it will be his last,” says a source close to the actor. But with Bruce Wayne and Batman he feels this is his last chance to really nail the role. He’s pouring over comic books and he’s started the kind of diet and exercise regime that is more in line with an Olympic athlete than an actor. He’s going to be in the best shape of his life by the time he gets the Bat suit on again.”

The first two movies have been amazing — we can’t wait to see what he brings to the next one!
