Whoever is doing make up for The Runaways deserves an Oscar already for making Dakota Fanning look like a totally different person.

The transformation is incredible!

The chicks of New Moon and their new flick, music biopic The Runaways, Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart, were spotted at the NYLON Summer Music Tour at the Roxy in El Lay Tuesday.

If you look close, you can see a glimpse of K-Stew's darker do. She had to change up her Twilight curls in favor of a jet black mullet to play Joan Jett in the new flick.

Also, look how grown up Dakota looks? She's gone from creepy to chic just like that!

It's official!

Summit Entertainment has confirmed that little Dakota Fanning will play a blood-sucking vampire in New Moon, the second installment in the Twilight franchise.

While we do agree that Dakota Fanning is a talented little lady who is growing up beautifully, we don't really see her as a punk rawk chick.

The teen actress is said to be in talks to star as Runaways lead singer Cheri Currie alongside Kristen Stewart as Joan Jet in the upcoming film named after the band.

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!

It will be her second film with K-Stew, as Stewart is slated to reprise her role in the Twilight sequel and Fanning has been tapped to play a vampire in the flick.

Can Dakota pull off a teenaged wild child without it turning into a caricature? Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Let's hope the adorable Dakota Fanning stays sweet and innocent looking.

We don't want her to go down the path of Miley Cyrus.

On Monday, not-so-little anymore Dakota (14) was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theater for her guest appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Fanning was sporting some hotpants and high heels. And she was definitely showing off some leg!

The outfit wouldn't have looked so Miley-ish if perhaps she wore different heels. She wore the same shoes to the premiere of Push last week. Though she paired the heels that time with a cute dress, which was a good look.

The teen actress turns 15-years-old this month. Should she be able to wear anything she likes?

On Thursday, Dakota Fanning attended the premiere of Push in LA.

She's turning into such a lovely lady!

We hope she scores that New Moon role!

We feel so old. Dakota's turning 15 next month!

In a new interview, the all-grown-up Dakota Fanning confirms that she is indeed in talks to play Jane, the deadly Italian vampire in the Twilight sequel, New Moon, as we had previously reported.

Says Fanning, "I really hope that works out. I think it's too soon to tell right now, but it'd be really fun. I'm a huge fan."

She'll surely be the envy of her cheerleading buddies, should this work out!

Twilight will be getting some more "star" power for part two of the film franchise!

According to reports, set to play Volturi vampire Jane, opposite hottie Robert Pattinson in the upcoming sequel, will be Dakota Fanning.

The soon-to-be 15 year-old is said to be in talks to play the Italian bloodsucker in New Moon.

A source reveals that "There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they're in negotiations."

Really? DAKOTA FANNING???? As a vampire?

New Moon is expected to start filming in Italy this March. The flick should be released in theaters this November.
