Emma Roberts looked beautiful last night in a navy blue ruched dress and gold Kara Ackerman studs at the Velvet by Graham & Spencer flagship opening in Brentwood.

But as is the case with most of the 22-year-old's looks, she went and ruined it with a bad shoe pairing!

Emma's Bionda Castana lace-up booties, in her favorite footwear color of black, were too heavy for such an effortless and seksi look.

In fact, we're pretty sure the only reason she wore them was so she could carry that semi-complementary gold Jimmy Choo clutch.

Oh Emma, just once we'd like to see you in a simple non-black pump. Make it happen — soon!

How lovely it must be to clothe yourself in the finest designer creations and go gallivanting around town from one party to another.

We can only imagine!

Emma Roberts knows firsthand what that's like, and she got to experience another version of it at the Chanel benefit dinner for The Natural Resources Defense Council's Ocean Initiative in El Lay on Friday.

The actress looked like the quintessential ingenue in a white knit Chanel dress styled with a quilted clutch and tricolor pumps also from the French label.

So fresh and so clean!

Looks like Evan Peters isn't just a superhero these days!

The American Horror Story actor, who was recently cast as Quicksilver in X-Men: Days of Future Past, is also an adventurer!

Or at least an aspiring one!

The actor was spotted leaving a screening of Frances Ha at the ArcLight last night, alongside Emma Roberts!

And while his lady friend seemed more invested in keeping her face hidden from the prying lens of the paparazzi behind her handbag, Evan was more comfortable showing off that gorgeous mug of his…as well as a t-shirt that reads the message "Darling, let's be adventurers!"

Emma Roberts may have joined the cast of American Horror Story to be closer to boyfriend Evan Peters, but it seems like he is already moving on to bigger projects!

The young star is the most recent addition to the cast of X-Men: Days Of Future Past! Director Bryan Singer tweeted:

The former Friends star was all sorts of filthy - and PSYCHOTIC - when the pair starred in Horrible Bosses together, and now, she'll be appearing as his exotic dancing next-door-neighbor-turned-drug-smuggling-accomplice in the upcoming comedy We're The Millers!

Ch-ch-check out the just-released theatrical trailer for the flick, which features them - along with Emma Roberts as a punky hoodrat and Will Poulter - posing as a family in an RV to get across the border and smuggle drugs back into the states, all at the behest of a very wealthy Ed Helms (above)!

However, it's clear - even from the preview alone - that the biggest scene-stealer here will be Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman, who puts the Ron Swanson persona aside to become a camping swinger! LOLz!

Looks like this one has serious potential!
