We love a man that can climb a beanstalk and make money at the same time!! LOLz
Ewan McGregror has been a UNICEF ambassador since 2004, and while he's currently working on raising money for the children of Syria, he went on the Ellen DeGeneres show to climb a beanstalk and collect $$$ leafs in hopes to raise $10,000 for the kiddies.
The Moulin Rouge! actor unfortunately didn't meet his $10,000 mark, but he was able to collect enough leafs that came up to a grand total of $9,000 buckaroos, which is still pretty damn amazing!!
Ready to see Ewan make his way up a beanstalk?!? Hit that play button (above)!!!
We are ALL FOR THIS.
Around here, we're inclined to believe that Ewan McGregor is a fantastic actor (because he is), even though the Star Wars prequels weren't up to par. That doesn't mean he can't be extraordinary in a spinoff dedicated to Obi-Wan Kenobi, especially if the project is in the right hands!
Yoda, Han Solo and Boba Fett’s name have all come up in speculation, but now Ewan wants to throw his character into the mix. Who doesn't want to know what Obi-Wan was up to before Luke went to find him??
Here's what he said:
And he shouldn't 'cuz he's gonna look good at any age!
Before Ewan McGregor turned the big 4-0, he was freaking out about his age, but now that he's 41, he ain't even trippin' over getting older.
The I Love You Phillip Morris actor revealed:
He dreamed a dream that he would win… and he was right!
The sexy Aussie was the SECOND actor/singer to win for Les Miserables!
After Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Comedic Actress, we kinda thought they were gonna give this one to her Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper…but Brad was no competition for Hugh's magical pipes!
Kanye West will not be pleased about this!
And he may very well be rethinking that skirt.
Yeezy was conspicuously absent, especially considering how much time and energy he devotes to looking good at all times.
He was totes snubbed!
Well, better luck next year, we hope!

Okay, okay, maybe he didn't say it like that, but he DID say it! LOLz!
It's true! Ewan McGregor has shared that he would absolutely come back as Obi-Wan for Star Wars: Episode 7 if they asked him to! Honestly, he was the least awful part of the prequels, so we wouldn't be against this. Plus, we know he's one hell of an actor when given the right material!
When asked if he would reprise the role, he revealed:
