As a response to the devastating flooding in Nashville, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will lending a helping hand. The two have organized a special concert on June 22 to raise money to benefit the city.

The show, entitled Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert For Flood Recovery, will be held at the city's Bridgestone Arena. Performers include Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and LeAnn Rimesfor starters.

Hosts McGraw and Hill said:

"The damage that we've seen to people's homes and the effect that the flooding has had on their lives is unimaginable. But we've seen the spirit of our community firsthand, as volunteers, church groups and our local business leaders rally to help.

We all need to continue to support those in need in any way that we can, and for that reason we could not be more appreciative to all of the artists, the companies and the people behind the scenes who collectively will make June 22 a truly special night."

Amen.

"Faith saved my life in a lot of ways. From myself more than anything. I can go down a dark road sometimes. When you're not feeling good about yourself, and she pulls me out. My wife makes me a better man."

Tim McGraw Thinks Kanye Needs An Ass Whoopin'!

wenn1311726tm.jpg

And people are still talking about it.

Country singer Tim McGraw tells CMT insider that Kanye West's atrocious behavior at the VMAs upset his 3 daughters, Gracie, Maggie and Audrey, who are fans of Taylor Swift.

"He shows himself to be an idiot every time he does stuff like that. [My girls] were upset. But what he did do is provide a great example of how not to be, and my girls learned a big lesson."

Well there's a positive spin on the situation!

McGraw contined, "When they weren't looking I said, 'He needs an ass whoopin'!"

Yeah, Kanye should have been more discreet about his displeasure, like your wife!

So, when will the Kanye hating end? We're guessing not any time soon.

Tim McGraw's Doing It For The Little Ladies

Filed under: Media Minute > Faith Hill

timmcgraw__opt.jpg

Hubby to Faith Hill and father to three daughters, Tim McGraw, has drawn from his personal experiences to pen a children's book for little girls.

The book recounts a day between a father and a daughter doing nothing in particular apart from enjoying the pleasure of each other's company. Although McGraw himself admits that he's not really interested in doing what his three girls - the eldest being 11 - are into, such as going to the mall or getting pedicures.

Why are 11-year-olds getting pedicures?

Nor is the country singer very into Chris Brown or the Jonas Brothers, which he says his girls go crazy for.

We're glad they're not so into Slutty Cyrus!

McGraw said that among the challenges a father faces while raising daughters, one of them is having to "sacrifice what you want to do, because boys do what you want to do. If I want to go to the farm and shoot guns or ride four-wheelers in the mud when it's 40 degrees … the girls aren't really interested in doing that."

So he hopes the book will provide some quality time for fathers and daughters to sit down and read together.

While Faith, who provided the book's forward, loved the book, husband Tim said the girls weren't so into it. The reason?

No JoBros!
