A lot of stars showed up to read and give their support to the organization that encourages kids to donate books to other kids who unfortunately don't have the same access to them. Such a simple and kind-hearted thing to do!
Among the stars were Jack Black, Maya Rudolf, Nathan Fillion, Jason Biggs, Julie Bowen, Josh Holloway, Ashlee Simpson, and Rainn Wilson!!
Jack Black has reportedly dropped more than $10,000 so that a group of high school students in his mother's twon of Tonasket, Washington, could travel to Disneylandand perform in a parade at the Magic Kingdom!
According to sources, the band entered a Disneyland contest and were selected to perform, but they had to be responsible for their own travel expenses. The community has been attempting to raise the funds themselves, and Jack's mom, who is a huge supporter of local music programs, informed her funnyman son of the predicament, who took matters into his own hands and covered all of the expenses!
Amazing! He probably has no idea how much exactly this means to those kids!

Yesterday, Jack Black was spotted walking his eldest son, Samuel, home from school. The father/son duo walked hand in hand, chatting away about Sam's day and possibly explaining who Spokane Zombies are.

Mark your calendars kiddies because Jack Black will be hosting this year's Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards on April 2nd. This will be Jack's third time acting as host, and he has big plans for his return to the stage. When announcing the news this morning, he told sources:
“Anyone can host something once. But if they ask you back a second time, that means they liked the way you did it. And if you host a third time, that means the first time wasn’t a fluke, and it means you did good two times. So the third time, well — that’s the real achievement…You wanna top the last one. I’ve had some pretty dynamic opening numbers. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but ‘I Was Made for Sliming You, Baby?’ That was one for the ages.”
