Forget working out today, because after you watch this extended first look clip of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, your heart will be pumpin' for hours!
In this clip, Game of Thrones' Lena Headey proves once again that you don't mess with the Lannisters, as she takes on some demon dudes with a frying pan, proving that the frying pan is always mightier than the sword.
Meanwhile, Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell-Bower talk about how she's not a "Mundane," meaning someone from the human world, (we don't how the ever-charming Lily could ever think she's mundane) when she gets a call from Mom who tell her to stay away from home!
Does she listen? Hellz no!
She runs home to find her house trashed like a Charlie Sheen hotel room, and ends up fighting off a demonic dog that turns basically into the Thing from The Thing.
As you can already tell, this sneak peek is really something awesome.

As cute a couple as ever, Lily and Jamie, along with author Cassie Clare, were on Good Morning in Philadelphia today to promote The Mortal Instruments, when the two were asked to explain why the other was such a good actor.
When asked to describe what makes Lily an amazing performer, Jamie was basically like "let me count the ways!" Here's what he said to Lilly:
Well, this is pretty much the coolest thing EVER!!!
The best-selling books are coming to the big screen next month but before the movie is even released in theaters, YOU can meet Clary, Jace, and Alec at a mall near you!
Fans will get a chance to ask questions, get autographs AND watch never before seen footage from the film!
Um… yes please!
Ch-ch-check out the tour dates below to see if your hometown is one one of the lucky stops along the way!
Our next fave sci-fi love story, The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones, is hitting theaters in just a few short weeks and we have some fresh material to whet our slayer-aspiring weapons!
Based on the books, we KNOW the film adaptation will be bad ass, but the new poster kills any reservations we might've had — just look at that brooding pout on Jamie Campbell-Bower's face! HA!
As if those fatal mugs weren't enough to get you ready for August 21, Lily Collins' INTENSE behind the scenes look at just how she demolishes those demons will surely do the trick.

We love new things!
A couple of months ago we posted the last trailer for Mortal Instrument: City of Bones, which opens August 21st, with an all-star cast of Lily Collins, her boyfriend-co-star Jamie Campbell Bower (who says mixing business with pleasure is wrong!), Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and many more!
It's great to see the ever-talented Lily Collins be apart of what looks like an awesome film franchise, after watching parts she auditioned for go respectively to KStew and Jlaw in the successful Twilight and Hunger Games series, a casting process, which like their movie counterparts, probably involved kids fighting to the death and a lot of (blood)sucker punches. So glad that Lily has her own book-based mega-blockbuster franchise to call her own!
Mortal Instruments is about a girl who discovers that she is half angel, and must use her newfound powers to protect the world from demons: Greater Demons, Lesser Demons, and (we hope) Telemarketers. If the movie is anything like the crossbow and flamethrower-filled trailer, it should turn the audience into a City of Bonerz!
Check out the most recent trailer (above) and let us know your thoughts!
Lily was spotted getting lovey dovey with hunky
Finnick Odair Sam Claflin on the set of Love, Rosie in Toronto.
While the twosome play long distance BFFS-turned-lovers, we're betting from the chemistry we see that their *cough* bond will withstand the mileage between them!
These co-stars are just too pretty together to NOT stay together…even if it is make-believe!
