After seven minutes of discussing fluffy stuff like football bets and his grandchildren, Kiefer Sutherland got down to the meat of his interview with David Letterman on The Late Show and revealed that the 24 movie is still moving forward!
Of course, he's been saying this stuff since the show went off the air in 2010, but the actor told Dave that the biggest problem plaguing the movie was the script, saying:

You don't mess with Jack Bauer!!!
24: The Movie, has been shelved and Kiefer Sutherland is PISSED! It all started with budget issues, but now things are getting personal!

Sorry Jack Bauer fans!
Under threat of an impending terrorist attack It looks like pre-production on the highly anticipated 24 film has ground to a screeching halt.
Apparently, negotiations between FOX, the filmmakers, and Kiefer Sutherland have been convoluted at best, with all sides not being very clear with each other.

Get URself together, Kiefer! The 24 movie stars shooting in just a few short months!!!!
On Tuesday night, Kiefer Sutherland indulged in SO much scotch at King Eddy Saloon in downtown El Lay, that he reportedly "cut himself off" at the end of the night!
After his binge-drinking session, Keith stumbled around outside of the bar until his bodyguard drove him home.
Nobody needs to get THAT shizfaced on a week night. We HOPE he's got it out of his system…but we're not optimistic.
Words like "rehab" come to mind.
What do U think? Does Keifer have a drinking problem? Or was this just a case of too much pAArtying???

Out of the mouthes of babes Jack Bauer!
As we previously reported, things are finally coming together to get the highly-anticipated 24 flick off the ground, starting with the fact that Kiefer Sutherland is a go as the man who says the world in one day. We had heard that the movie would start production in the spring, but last night at Fox’ TCA panel, Kiefer confirmed that he'd be getting back into terror-fighting shape in late March/early April for the start of shooting.
It's been a long time since you wielded a gun, stopped a bomb or disemboweled someone. Hope you're up for it again!
Start the clock! Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

Whoa! Big congrats to the cast and crew of Lars von Trier's Melancholia!
The film, starring Kirsten Dunst and ASkars (yum!) was named the Best Picture of the Year by the National Society of Film Critics.
Kirsten was also named best actress for her role in the film and Brad Pitt was named best actor for Moneyball.
