Our hearts are truly breaking for Leah Remini right now! More and more details are surfacing after her exit from Scientology last week.
And what she's up against now is TRULY scary stuff!
Leah's sister Nicole Remini (a former Scientologist herself) called into myTalk 107.1 radio show on Tuesday to shed some light on why Leah left the religion after more than 30 years! According to her, it all started at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 2006 wedding!
Not only did Leah allegedly question the whereabouts of Scientology leader David Miscavige's wife Shelly, she also had a problem with what went on at the ceremony!
Nicole explained how Leah was put off by what she deemed "questionable behavior", including how she thought the man who married Tom and Katie was drunk!
The oddity of the nuptials continued well on into the honeymoon, since according to Nicole, Tom invited his best man to join him and his new bride on their romantic getaway!
That best man is none other than David Miscavige! His and Tom's relationship had Leah wondering what the HELLZ was up between these two! And according to her sister, Leah raised those suspicions with a good friend and fellow follower of Scientology.
Leah's friend ended up being more loyal to the Church than she was to Leah however and REPORTED Remini for talking trash about top brass!
It wasn't long before Leah, her mother (also a member of the Church with the highest Scientology ranking) and her step-father, were all called in for questioning about their loyalty to the religion.
From then on, the Remini family was considered "not in good standing" with the Church, which led to their exit from Scientology. And once you leave, your ties to the Church and all of its members are cut COMPLETELY!
Nicole described just how far Scientology's leaders are going to make sure members DO NOT speak to Leah ever again, saying:
Inside sources say the religion and its famous followers are down right FURIOUS at Leah and are now strategizing how to handle her exit from the Church!
And angriest of them all might be Kirstie Alley!
With word of Leah severing her Scientology ties, Kirstie took to Twitter, saying:
What do you do when that stupid thing you said gets circulated all over the Internet?
Release a (sort of) apology statement!
Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries' remarks about not wanting overweight people to wear his company's clothes have gone viral, and prompted a young man to rebrand the retailer by donating thrifted Abercrombie duds to homeless people.
Naturally, the PR firm that represents the brand had to come up with an attempt at damage control –and here it is!
Abercrombie & Fitch just lost three more customers!
The actress said:
"Abercrombie clothes are for people who are cool and look a certain way and are beautiful and are thin' and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That would make me never buy anything from Abercrombie… I’ve got two kids in that bracket, but they will never walk in those doors because of his view of people — forget women, his view of just people."
You go, girl!
We're sure your 18 and 20-year-old's money will be better spent at inclusive retailers anyway!

What's awful about this is that we actually like Kirstie Alley — but we will not stand for her getting in the way of people in need getting proper treatment.
We do our best around here to support people making decisions to believe or not in whatever religion they choose, so long as they're not ruining other peoples' lives in doing so. We would do that with Scientology too, but Scientology is wack! There's no way around it! LOLz!
Unfortunately, Kirstie Alley is a Scientologist, and has now started slamming antidepressant ad campaigns because scientologists strongly oppose the use of antidepressants and other drugs meant to treat psychiatric problems. For a religion with the word 'science' basically in the name, we can't help but shake our heads that they would argue against science at all.
Here's what Kirstie said:
