Ch-ch-check out a brand new character Veronica "Ronnie" Moore (Jennifer Hudson) as she sings an ORIGINAL ballad called I Can't Let Go, with Ivy (Megan Hilty) and Karen (Katharine McPhee) accompanying (above)!
OOOOOO lady, that voice is undeniable in it's power!
And we can't wait to get better acquainted with Ronnie's storyline, which apparently includes a rather controlling Momma!

Broadway icon Bernadette Peters is returning to NBC's Smash in her role as Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty's) famous mother!
We saw in season one how Bernadette's matriarchal character pushed Ivy to be the best, or fade into nothing, and viewing their strained relationship shed light on WHY Ivy can be so competitive and cut throat, yet extremely insecure.
SO souped for Smash's totally revamped season two and ALL the new cast additions! We can't wait to see Jennifer Hudson, Jeremy Jordan, Nikki Blonsky, and Sean Hayes (among others) in all their broadway meets small screen glory!

We had been so blown away by James Franco and Mila Kunis in the preview for Oz: The Great and Powerful that we had totally FORGOTTEN that there is ANOTHER Wizard spin-off in the works and on its way!
But after this, it won't be slipping our mind anytime soon!
