First Goldie Hawn and now Melanie Griffith? Double bummer.

Back in March, we were disappointed to hear that Goldie dropped out of the HBO pilot The Viagra Diaries and now we are even MORE disappointed to hear that Lifetime has passed on Melanie's pilot for American Housewife.

What gives? These are two women we would LOVE to see on television!

Sounds like there might have been some cattiness behind the scenes of The Hot Flashes!!

Melanie Griffith was cast as Clementine Winks in the new comedy, but she just told her Twitter followers she had to drop out over — and she uses the quotations — "creative differences."

The film is about a basketball team comprised of middle-aged women. She was spotted working on location in New Orleans just last week!

Lots of celebs were out and about Aspen this Christmas, but we were most pleased to see Goldie Hawn catching up with her good friend Melanie Griffith over the holiday. The two had lunch at the Pyramid Bistro with Goldie's kids Kate and Oliver Hudson and then later took in some shopping together.

You know what's the one thing that doesn't go out of style? Being fabulous!

Recently, Alec Baldwin was in the news for getting kicked off a plane for playing Words With Friends after a flight attendant asked him to turn off his cell phone.

Well, now it looks like Melanie Griffith is just the latest celeb to go diva on a flight.

It's been two years since Melanie Griffith has left rehab after struggling with an addiction to pain meds.

And now she's back, looking good and ready to get back to work.

She'll be making her acting comeback by starring in a new TV pilot about a dysfunctional family where she will play the family's matriarch. After wowing producers with her screen test, her husband Antonio Banderas says the studio is ready to shoot a pilot.

On Monday night's Dancing With The Stars, Maksim Chmerkovskiy had a situation with his pants.

No, not because he was wearing the tightest pair of leather slacks we've ever seen. Apparently, he was introduced to Melanie Griffith in the audience and the encounter almost made him "crap himself."

His words, not ours! He explains:

"Jamie Lee Curtis a big fan of the show and she's been coming every week. Yesterday, she calls me over and says, 'Hey, I have somebody for you to meet.' I'm not going to lie, I almost crapped myself and had a heart attack at the same time. To introduce me to Melanie Griffith, I know exactly who she is."

Okaaaaay.

But if you knew exactly who she is, then why did you get so excited???

We kid, we kid. We know she's a big deal…somewhat.

Scarface actor Steven Bauer is not the same Stevan Bauer responsible for a fatal car crash this past weekend!

According to news reports, the actor was driving his Toyota RAV 4 Sunday morning on Pacific Highway when he ran into 23-year-old Brent Rosenberg who was crossing the street. Rosenberg had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital and unfortunately died shortly after.

Reports say the Que Pasa, USA? actor is responsible for the entire incident, however, turns out he has nothing to do with it.

Reps for the actor, who was married to Melanie Griffith in the ‘80s, have reached out to PerezHilton.com to set some facts straight.

According to his people, Steven was nowhere near Malibu when the accident took place. In fact, he doesn’t even own a RAV4. It turns out Steven has a Florida license and even more, his legal last name is Echevarria!

Talk about a case of mistaken identity.
