Instagram is great for a lot of stuff, like taking pics of your food and pretending you're a photographer. It's also great for documenting the craziest moments on the planet: like that time Meryl Streep sat next to 50 Cent at a Lakers game and instantly became BFFs with him!
They were at the Los Angeles Lakers vs New York Knicks game on Sunday, and we're serious when we say they were even holding hands at one point.
The unlikely pair even fooled around for the camera — but not THAT kind of fooled around. More like "goofed" around. We just wish the kiss cam landed on them!

Meryl Streep is such an inspiration!
The Hope Springs actress got together with Katie Couric to promote her Entertainment Industry Foundation's National Colorectal Cancer Research foundation, which is teamed up with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and to do her part, Miz Streep recorded a PSA that urges everyone to get screened for colorectal cancer.
Since Meryl knows how important it is to screen for this type of cancer, she reveals that she made everyone she knows get a test done, and noted:
