This can't be a good start for this lady!

Bring her your poor, your tired, your huddled masses!
The Shake It Off singer announced Monday morning on Good Morning America that she has officially been named the Global Welcome Ambassador for NYC!
How did this come about? She said:
Well this is super disappointing to hear about!
Well, when looking for a location to shoot a particular scene, the scouts found Salesian High School in the New York area, which is a Catholic school, that could pass as a town hall.
Sounds perfect, right?
Well, after initially approving the shoot to happen on the school's grounds, the principal John Flaherty let one of the films producers, Michael Shamberg, know that they had changed their minds.
We can't decide what's more awkward, running into your former lover at a charity event or going up to say hi to them, only to be completely ignored on camera.
Sofia Vergara and ex-fiancé Nick Loeb had bit of an awkward encounter, to say the least, at the Angel Ball in NYC on Monday night!
It was clear as day that the two were at the same event, but no one thought Nick would try and initiate a conversation with Sofia during an on-camera interview!
Her reaction to the incident was pretty fitting for what happened.
Not sure why Nick thought it would be okay to interrupt her interview!

We're loving EVERYTHING Taylor Swift is dishing out these days!
While we're still jamming to Shake It Off, we've been gifted another treat from her 1989 album!
She might've just released only a little snippet of Welcome to New York (above) while on Good Morning America, but this song is damn fun and totally catchy.
And as New York lovers ourselves, this song also oozes all the AH-Mazingness and energy that New York has. It's seriously the perfect jam for this lively and unpredictable city.
We can't wait to hear the rest (which you can do TONIGHT at midnight!)…especially after hearing Tay talk about the first song on the album that holds a special place in her heart.
Ch-ch-check out what Welcome to New York means to her (below)!
New York City is the snobbiest place in all of America!
But don't just take our word for it, Travel + Leisure put together a definitive list of the 20 snobbiest cities in the country, and NYC just happens to take the cake.
The rest of the offenders include…
Russell Brand has never really been one to follow the rules.
He's also never been one to be silenced, especially when it comes to his views of FOX News.
The outspoken comedian was slated to appear on Sean Hannity's show at the headquarters in New York, but they decided to cancel his appearance at the last minute.
Well, Russell decided that he would show up to the property anyway and record a segment for his YouTube series Trews aka True News…
Which almost got him kicked off the property for (apparently) no reason other than he was filming there!
They even threatened to have him arrested if he didn't leave! Crazy!
Ch-ch-check out the INSANE segment he recorded (below)!
Holy shiz! We knew this story was gonna be crazy, but WOW!
Well, looks like he was saving that particular story for Jimmy Kimmel and boy are we glad he did.
Turns out there was A LOT, like a lot a lot, of alcohol involved in the hours leading up to his arrest in New York.
Honestly though, the story involves a random meeting in Times Square, grabbing Alan Cumming's butt, the World Cup, and explaining why he thought it was a good idea to spit on a cop.
Ch-ch-check out the entire INSANE story (below)!!!
