The only hint anyone received from the starlet was "the release is closer than you think."
Because that's not vague! LOLz!
It's no secret Oprah Winfrey has struggled with her weight for many years.
Time and time again, we've heard stories of Oprah's tales of woe when it comes to her fluctuating weight, especially over the last few years. From fad diets to intense workout routines, it seems like O has earnestly tried everything only to end up in failure.
Speaking on her low point and the flack she has received from fans over the years, Winfrey confessed:
"None of those people had stood in their closets with three different sizes to try on on the floor, where the waistline didn't fit and the arms didn't fit, and the hips didn't fit, and you can't get it zipped, and felt that shame and that humiliation of 'Wow, I can't believe I'm in this position again.'"
Aw, how heartbreaking. We can't imagine the shame and humiliation O.W. must have felt as not only a public person but as a motivational speaker.
Luckily for the talk show host, she was able to find redemption in Weight Watchers. The spokesperson complimented the program's focus on community and supportive members as for why she was finally able to get back on track.
After it was reported that Joseph Fiennes would be playing Michael Jackson in an upcoming British TV movie, many critics found the casting choice a perfect example of the entertainment industry's lack of minority representation!
The Shakespeare In Love actor claimed due to Jackson's skin pigmentation, casting a white guy to play the King of Pop in the 9/11 road trip comedy Elizabeth, Michael, and Marlon wasn't a big deal, explaining:
"He was probably closer to my color than his original color."
But the late music legend was always against the prospect of a white actor playing him on the screen, telling Oprah Winfrey back in 1993 that the idea was "ridiculous."
In the clip, which has resurfaced on the internet in the wake of the casting controversy, Oprah asked MJ about the rumors in which he reportedly requested a young white actor to play him in a Pepsi commercial!
The Billie Jean singer blasted the reports, saying:
When the Queen of the world tells you she loves bread, you listen.
We already saw her New Year's Eve commercial for the weight loss plan, but now she's back with another PSA: You can eat bread and still lose weight on the diet!
The OWN chairwoman took over Twitter on Tuesday with a carbo-loaded tweet, saying:
He's grown now.
Aaron Carter is getting ready to make his return to music with a brand new EP next month, so he's been busy making his media rounds while simultaneously interacting with fans.
We already showed you how he had the slightest meltdown earlier in the week when someone asked him to perform I Want Candy at a concert in Virginia — and now we know why.
Thanks to a clip from Oprah's Where Are They Now? series, it turns out that the 28-year-old actually dislikes his old music and thinks his career as a child star was "a joke."
Chalk it up to… perfect timing for New Year's Resolutions?
Oprah Winfrey is now Weight Watchers' lead spokeswoman — after buying 10% of the company back in October!
And the former talk show queen's journey with health and weight loss continues as she documents it publicly for the slim-down company.
Ch-ch-check out her first spot — which premiered exclusively in the UK but is available for all on YouTube — that flashes back to the days of old, when she struggled publicly with her weight a few decades ago (below):
It's good being Oprah Winfrey's best friend!
Recently, Gayle King's taken to Instagram to document her beachside vacation with the media mogul. Color us jealous!
Though it seems that Miz King isn't the only A-List friend that the former Queen of Daytime TV brought on her holiday getaway as Selma director Ava DuVernay and actor David Oyelowo were spotted in the vacation snap (above)!
The 60-year-old wrote:
"Favorite daughter & @davidoyelowo join the girl beach party ! A welcome addition for sure…."
Now that's a party we'd crash!
And it seems that Gayle is having the time of her life as she took to IG again to share a vid of herself flaunting her new fit figure (below).
You go girl!
On Thursday, Gayle King opened up about her weight loss journey while at the opening night for the Broadway revival of The Color Purple. Oprah Winfrey's best friend joined Weight Watchers recently and it seems to be doing good for the CBS This Morning anchor.
The industry vet shared:
"This is the beauty of Weight Watchers—you can eat exactly what you want and I for one needed structure. But what's great is you can eat whatever you want and you decide how you want to your points. The other day I had two pieces of cake!"
That's AH-Mazing. However, she quipped:
