Padma Lakshmi was romantically linked to Teddy Forstmann, who was a vet in the business world and a philanthropist.
He was 71, and lost a battle with brain cancer, unfortunately.
It's never good to hear news like this, and our thoughts go out to his family and sons, who will need support through this tough time.
From what we understand, he was a good man.

So, Top Chef star Padma Lakshmi is apparently terrible at hosting things, because her audience interrupted her to donate a thousand dollars to The Moth just to get her off the stage:
“She was rambling,” our source said. She told a long story about wanting to try a hot dog and later begged guests to donate $20 each. The man stood up and said, “I will donate $1,000 if you get off the stage right now.”
Lakshmi’s rep said, “She was not intoxicated but having fun in an unscripted format … The person offered $1,000 and Padma said she’ll take that offer.”
Rambling about hot dogs??
We guess that's one tactic to get people to donate: be just so terrible that they pay you to leave!

The women's activewear company is promoting a healthy lifestyle (in their clothes of course) by showcasing their beautiful models of all ages participating in their favorite physical activity. As the youngest spokeswoman for the campaign, Hilary said:
"This Danskin campaign is for women of all ages — 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s — and what they like to do to stay in shape — physically and mentally in mind, body, and soul.”
The 23-year-old prefers hitting the nature trails to exercise her mind, body, and soul with her advertisement reading:
"Hiking is a great way to keep challenging myself and clear my mind. You walk, run, climb through natural beauty — it makes you feel at peace."
We totally agree and can't help but admire Hilary's own natural beauty! Check out more pics from the fit celeb's Danskin photo shoot below and try to tell us we're wrong!
Bravo's Top Chef: Texas has recruited one of cooking's biggest stars!
Emeril Lagasse is joining the reality competition as a judge alongside Hugh Acheson, Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons.
Fans of the show should be in for a treat as producers have promised "many surprising twists and turns and never-before-seen challenges and events."
Rumor has it that Pee-Wee Herman was seen around town in San Antonio, one of the three Texas cities the show is being shot in, with the judges.
No specific premiere date, but the latest season of the Bravo show will begin sometime this fall.

Ever wonder how Padma Lakshmi maintains that perfect body while chowing down on all that delicious Top Chef food she has to judge?
She doesn't! Ha!
Don't worry, we never would have guessed either!
The host and judge of the hit reality competition show says that her miraculous appearance is often the result of expanding dress sizes.
In a recent interview, when asked about how she stays in such great shape during the filming, she answered:
”It’s not easy, and the short answer is that I don’t stay in shape during the season. I go up one to two dress sizes. What you don’t see on camera is that I do have a rack full of clothes that range in sizes, and as I gain weight, I just wear bigger clothes."
Could have fooled us! In fact, she did!
She credits her modeling experience for her ability to "camouflage certain areas" of her body, saying:
“I’ve been a model for 15 years, and I’ve been on Top Chef for eight seasons, and before that I had other cooking shows, so I’ve learned a thing or two about how to camouflage certain areas and how to draw the eye to a preferable area of the body.”
We doubt she needs to camouflage her body TOO MUCH because every time we've seen her, whether on or off television, she looks fantastic!
She does raise a good point, however, that wearing the correct clothing sizes can compliment your body, no matter what size you are.

Padma Lakshmi is one of the most beautiful women in the world and yet she will be the first to tell you that losing baby weight isn’t easy.
"Be patient with yourself and give yourself compassion. It's about consistency. You're not going to lose 20 to 30 pounds in a month, nor should you. You can still feel feminine and beautiful and strong whether you're a size 12 or a size 2."
Padma shared that her biggest surprise about her post-baby body is that she didn’t mind the extra weight:
"That I liked myself at a bigger size. I wanted to lose the weight, but I thought I was doing something more important than tending to my vanity. You look at your body totally differently. It created this life and brought it into the world."
We love her outlook on weight!
