Rihanna performed on the Today show Friday morning and she showed off a new tattoo!

The singer is sporting some in atop her shoulder that looks like Roman numerals.

Wonder what significance it has to her???

RiRi already has little stars and several other tattoos covering her body.

And it's finger-lickin' good!

Rihanna attended a party in her honor on Tuesday night at Guesthouse in NYC.

The singer's cake was released with images of her singles.

Her album, Good Girl Gone Bad, was re-released this week with a couple new songs.

Give her wants your money $$$!!!!!! Ha!

This song is called Disturbia and we love Love LOVE it.

It's an uptempo club-thumper!

Not content with ruling the music scene (naturally), Rihanna is set to star in her first big screen debut!

It is being reported that the Umbrella chanteuse has been cast as Carol in the film adaptation of Iceberg Slim's book Mama Black Widow.

According to it's online description, the movie synopsis is as follows:

"Mama Black Widow is the portrait of a black family's migration from the southern Mississippi fields of the segregated south to the ghettoized black underworld of Chicago during the 1930's. The story follows Otis Tilson's struggle to keep his family together as they navigate through a world of alcoholism, pimping, sexual deviation and racial degradation. Told in the gut level language of the original novel by Iceberg Slim, the family's journey is a harsh testament of lives lived on the margins of a racist and predatory world."

Also joining RiRi in the cast is Anthony Anderson, Kerry Washington, and Macy Gray. Yes, Macy Gray. We don't know why either.

Let's hope this doesn't bomb for Rihanna's sake. If it does, no one's gonna want to hire her for another film again!

Princess RiRi reigns supreme!

Her latest single, Take a Bow, had an opening week of 267,000 digital downloads, landing the track at the number one spot on the Hot Digital Songs chart in the U.S. this weel.

Rihanna also made a stratospheric rise to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week, jumping from number 53 to the number one spot as well!

RiRi has made the second highest jump in Billboard history, with the highest going to Maroon 5 last year with Makes Me Wonder jumping from number 64 to number one on the Hot 100.

Riri's expanded version of her Good Girl Gone Bad album is set to release on June 17th.

Gotta milk it while you can!

Rihanna now has two of the top three opening-week downloads in history. She was only surpassed by Mariah Carey's Touch My Body, which hit the all time high number-one spot with 286,000 downloads last month. That beat out Rihanna's Umbrella which debuted last year at 277,000.

At this rate, though, RiRi might be beating Mimi soon!
