robin williams cremated ashes scattered

Robin Williams has been laid to rest.

The actor's suicide was simply heartbreaking for many, but now he is surely at peace.

Robin's body was cremated on August 12th, the day after his unexpected passing.

The official death certificate has confirmed this along with that his ashes were scattered in the San Francisco Bay.

However, the document still doesn't reveal the cause of death as it states "pending investigation" instead. While he did hang himself, the coroner is still waiting on toxicology results to confirm if he had any substances in his system, which will take a few weeks.

We're just glad he's at rest now.

The bad news just keeps on coming.

Robin Williams' suicide came as a surprise to all.

And what is making it all the much worse is hearing that his suicide might have been a rash and unplanned decision.

We're hearing a friend of Robin spoke to him the day before he was found dead. The two apparently had a lengthy discussion about many business matters, including several deals that were in the works.

Robin is said to have been "completely engaged in the conversation."

In fact, he was apparently asking many questions and behaving in a manner inconsistent with someone planning their suicide.
