These are such tough words to read, but such an important lesson and memory to hold.
It's been two years since Robin Williams' death, and his widow, Susan Schneider Williams, is doing very difficult and admirable work in being sure that the awareness of his brain disease, Lewy Body Disease, will not be forgotten.
In a heartbreaking essay Susan published in Neurology this week, the widow shared a very intimate portrait of the final few months with her late husband, including how the disease consumed and completely transformed his life.
The essay, titled The Terrorist Inside My Husband's Brain, reads in part:
Eddie Murphy might not do a ton of interviews, but when he does, we get some pretty crazy revelations!
While promoting his upcoming indie drama Mr. Church, the 55-year-old industry vet made his first-ever podcast appearance for The Hollywood Reporter's "Awards Chatter" — and he opened up about everything from refusing drugs from Robin Williams and John Belushi, to not owning a computer.
As you know, Williams committed suicide back in 2014 after a long battle with cocaine and alcohol addiction, and Belushi tragically died in 1982 after a fatal overdose. So sad.
Can you believe it's been 25 years since Robin Williams flew into our hearts as an older Peter Pan in Hook?!
Unfortunately Robin is no longer with us, but the actors who played the Lost Boys in the Steven Spielberg flick did what they do best — carry on the memory of a legend — as they got together for the 25th Anniversary of the 1991 film.
If just knowing this little reunion happened isn't good enough, you'll be happy to know that 22 Vision was on the scene to capture ALL the magic!
The production company was lucky enough to catch up with Dante Basco, Raushan Hammond, James Madio, Ryan Francis, Thomas Tulak, Isaiah Robinson, Ahmad Stoner, Bo Georghe, and Brett and Bryan Willis to snag a bunch of photos and interview them about their experiences!
Ch-ch-check out 22 Vision's FB post (below) to see the rest of the AH-Mazing pictures from their Hook 25th Anniversary Reunion while we wait for interviews and more pics from this AH-Mazing moment!
While the note was obviously heart-wrenching, the actress' generous nature also came through when she mentioned all the charities she donated to in honor of Robin's special day. Throughout his lifetime, R.W. was a big supporter of causes relating to rescue dogs, people with disabilities, and veterans.
As for the pic that accompanied the sad message, it shows the actor laughing with his three kiddos when they were younger. It's truly a perfect portrayal of the comedian's infectious spirit and the love he had for his family.
While some fans may have guessed who Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan killed during the AMC drama's hiatus, it's clear from some INTENSE reaction videos that there were still plenty of people who managed to ignore the chatter since April's cliffhanger.
