Simon Cowell isn't as mean as we all think. Or maybe he's just fucking with the media for some good publicity!

The American Idol judge has revealed that he's donating $180 million to charity when he dies.

Cowell wants to leave the bulk of his money to children's and animal causes. "Mum asked, ‘Have you ever made a will?’ I said, ‘Thanks a lot!’. But it got me thinking," he explained.

Why wait ’til then?

Both Donald Trump and Simon Cowell are chiming in on Britney Spears and offering the beleaguered mother of two advice.

"This is Anna Nicole Smith all over again!" says Trump. "Someone needs to help her. Five years ago every teenager wanted to be just like her. She was so incredible, the cleanest and so beautiful, she was the ultimate teen and everybody just worshiped her. To see what's unfolding, being carried out in a stretcher in an ambulance, not even knowing where she was, it's just really very sad."

Cowell offers, "It looks to me at the moment she's out of control. If I sat down with Britney, I would, number one, remind her of all the good things in her life: her kids, her money, her success, everything. I would take her out of where she's living at the moment and tell her to live with her family, normally for five months. She's welcome to call me any time."

"There has to come a point when I will step down from being on camera and remain behind the scenes because you can't keep doing this for ever. I have three more seasons under contract with American Idol and that will be it. And it will probably come at the same time in the UK. I am contracted for another two or three seasons in Britain and I think by that point the public will be sick to death of me anyway and it will be time to go. Three years and that's it - I will do what I've always done. I run a record label, I run a TV company, we're making movies now - I love that part of my life. I probably get more satisfaction from making a show than being on a show. I've been lucky, but I also know when not to outstay my welcome."
