What Billy Crystal is to the Oscars, Neil Patrick Harris is to the Tony Awards!

The talented How I Met Your Mother actor will be fronting the 67th Tony Awards for the fourth time, making him the show’s resident host of sorts. And yet, we couldn’t be more thrilled! There’s nothing quite like a little NPH song and dance to put us in a good mood!

Upon the announcement, Neil said:

Ruh-roh, Mr. Donaghy!!

Remember Orphans? The Broadway revival starring Alec Baldwin and, for a quick second, Shia LaBeouf?

The Tony-nominated play officially TANKED!!

Show-runners originally planned to end the run on June 30th, but poor ticket sales since Shia's dismissal are forcing them to close the curtains for good in mid-May!

Sadly, we can't say we didn't see this coming

The Tony Award nominee list is out! And it looks like this just might be Cyndi Lauper’s year! Her musical collaboration with Harvey Fierstein, resulting in the new Broadway hit Kinky Boots, is garnering quite the attention with 13 Tony nominations!

What’s more? Tweens are dominating the musical theater awards with 12 nods for Matilda, 10 for Pippin and 9 for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella!

But we’re have to admit we’re a little stumped by the play nominees! While Tom Hanks has got himself a Best Actor in a Play nomination, that list is looking a little empty. Where’s Al Pacino?! As for the ladies, no Bette Midler?!

We can literally hear it in her head as she walked onto the Oscars stage last night to accept her award for "Best Original Song!"

"Two down, two to go…"

And hot damn, does Adele deserve the distinction of having an EGOT, or what?!

The supremely talented singer has apparently now landed enough accolades for her contributions to the entertainment industry that she has her sights set on the much-sought-after quartet of statues, as she was overheard telling journalists in the Oscar press room that in order to secure the remaining Emmy and Tony Awards:

What?! Noooooo!

Producers behind the 2013 Tony Awards are considering asking the beautifully brilliant Bette Midler to co-host the show with the ah-mazingly iconic Barry Manilow, but there is a huge hitch!

And we don't mean the match-maker played by Will Smith!

The two legendary entertainers apparently HATE each other!

See, Barry started out as Bette's piano man, but the Mandy singer quickly escaped his humble beginnings and — with 80 million album sales beneath his belt — eventually outsold his former boss!

Bette didn't waste away by the wayside, but she apparently holds a grudge!

The Wind Beneath My Wings songstress wouldn't even attend his Manilow on Broadway opening!

Aww! We love Bette & Barry more than we love oxygen and chocolate milk, but the Tonys are bigger than these two stage legends!

We will not have them sullied!

Get it together, you two! The world is counting on you!
