Oprah Removes Alleged Domestic Abuser Winans From Show

wenn26385572.jpg

If Chris Brown was bothered by Oprah Winfrey not lending him a helping hand after his "incident" with Rihanna, he must really be hating her now.

Oprah has stated that she's against domestic violence and therefore did not offer Chris the opportunity to go on her show and try to clean up his image.

But she did allow gospel singer BeBe Winans on her show, despite his domestic violence issues. Burn!

Winans was arrested in March of this year on charges of domestic assault after he allegedly pushed his ex-wife to the ground while arguing about child custody issues. He's due back in court early January on those charges.

Though it seems that didn't bother Winfrey much as she had BeBe appear on her show last Friday as a judge for a karaoke challenge skit.

However, that decision has left many people calling her, what else, but a hypocrite!

And Oprah was set to have him return on her show to promote his new reunion project with his sister CeCe Winans, however, it seems all the negative backlash has started to get to Oprah as she's now banned Winans from her show. That is until the charges against him are resolved.

Inneresting.

Hey Chris, have any thoughts on this? Oh wait, Oprah doesn't care what you have to say!

Fox News At The Top

foxnewsprlogo.jpg

Fox News won over the ratings Tuesday night with their election coverage. Unfortunately!

According to the Nielsen ratings, they brought in 1.1 million among the news' target demographic of 25-54 year olds.

And coming in at a distant second was MSNBC with 974,000 viewers, followed by HLN with 842,000, and CNN with 826,000.

Fox News also received an increase of 84% in total viewers compared to their primetime average this year so far.

CNN must be thrilled!

Will Oprah Take Her Show To Cable?

wenn2638557oprah.jpg

It could be a risky move!

Oprah's contract for The Oprah Winfrey Show is up in 2011 and many are wondering whether she'll extend the show in syndication or move it to her highly-anticipated Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) on cable?

OWN is a joint venture between Oprah and Discovery Communications and supposedly the chief of Discovery Communications David Zaslav is demanding that Oprah make the move to the new network or lose the deal altogether!

Rumor has it that they will issue a press release in a few days announcing OWN's launch for 2011 and in subsequent weeks O will make the announcement that she's moving the show from Chicago to OWN's LA headquarters beginning in Fall 2011.

We're not sure this is a good idea!

There's a possibility OWN could distribute the show for syndication, but otherwise we have a feeling she'll be seen by a smaller audience if she's only on cable. Her ratings have already fallen by half over the past ten years!

Is Oprah losing steam?

It doesn't really matter in the long-run though, The Big O is worth $2.3 billion!!!

Mercy! The Real Housewives On A Real Show?

njmich.jpg

Talk about awkward cross-promoting!

Some of the New Jersey housewives from the Bravo Real Housewives franchise are making their primetime debut on NBC!

Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa "I-Flip-Tables-When-I'm-Pissed" Giudice will be making a guest appearance on the new NBC drama, Mercy. The ladies will get into words (and possibly be throwing tables) at Michelle Trachtenberg when her character travels to a NJ bar!

A spy on set reveals: “It’s not a warm and fuzzy encounter by any means.”

Another money-saving scheme from NBC: save money on real actors and promote another show all in one shot!

Boy, Jay Leno must be really expensive, huh?

Maury And Oprah TIED In the Ratings!

wenn5287290mp.jpg

We guess the American public love a bit of trashy television and just can't get enough of hearing Maury Povich telling would-be baby daddies: "You are NOT the father!"

Maury is now tied with Oprah as the number one talk show among adults ages 18-34 and Maury is the #2 talk show among women ages 18-49 and adults 18-49, second only to the Big O!

This is surprising to us because we thought Ellen or TyTy would be up there for sure!

For the week of October 19th, Maury averaged 3 million viewers per episode and was up 11 percent from their ratings during the same week last year!

We're sure Tyra is pulling out her weave her hair over this news!

CNN Hits All-Time Ratings Low!

cnnfail.jpg

It was a sad Monday night for the Cable News Network!

According to the Nielsen ratings, CNN's Larry King Live only had 450,000 people tune in, while Anderson Cooper 360 drew a cancellation-inducing 395,000 viewers!

Ouchie!

What do U think is next for CNN?!

James Franco Drops By 30 Rock Too!

30_franco_jenna.jpg

James Franco has graduated from daytime to primetime TV in a matter of weeks!

That boy knows how to work it out!

Franco will be guest starring as himself in an upcoming episode of NBC's 30 Rock, in which Franco will be involved in a "faux romance" with Jenna (Jane Krakowski) that was "engineered by their respective agents."

James is said to be working the episode this week in NYC during what we assume is downtime from shooting his story arc on daytime soap General Hospital.

More Franco on TV???

Yes, please!

For all five of you who look forward to Eastwick, we've got some bad news!

The November 18th episode of ABC's new supernatural drama will be scrapped in favor of a Janet Jackson special!

Inneresting!

We wonder what more Janet has to say/sing.
