Tia Mowry loves to be healthy, and she REALLY loves to be compassionate towards animals.
So, of course she partnered with PETA on a new ad (below) promoting veganism!
To kick start the new campaign, the Tia & Tamera star unveiled it in person at PETA's Bob Barker Building yesterday.
There were healthy, vegan sandwiches and salads at the family-friendly event, so people were full of good food as an excited Tia spoke about working with PETA.
Tia said:
"I wanted to become a voice for my community. I wanted to educate my culture about the benefits of becoming vegan. The more you learn about the benefits of being vegan, the more you become alive and the more you become aware of why it's a really great decision. Not only am I helping myself, I'm helping the animals out there, I'm helping the environment—going vegan, I feel great."
Helping the environment, helping animals and getting numerous health benefits…
Is there any reason not to go vegan??

When it comes to championing animal rights, few do it better than Paul McCartney.
So of course it made sense that Paul helped PETA present an award for the most vegan-friendly city in the U.S.!
Can you guess who it is??
Tia Mowry-Hardrict recently went vegan, and during a recent Google+ hangout she was asked how hard it was to go vegan and what the toughest part about being vegan is.
She explained her diet is really about fruits, veggies and protein. Fresh produce, beans, quinoa, etc.
The thing that she noticed was a major change was that she now cooks tons of food and stores it.
It seems like if you're vegan and you don't plan ahead, you really won't have anything to eat.
And that just sounds awful.
She's so into cooking now she was thinking about starting her own cookbook!!

We first learned that Mike Tyson had gone vegan when he had an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and now that he lost a whopping 140 pounds, he's thanking veganism for helping him trim down!!
In a recent interview with ABCNews.com, the boxer talked about his diet, exercise routine, animal products and Evander Holyfield's ear.
Here are the HIGHlights:
Something about Oprah Winfrey - when you're around her, the truth just pours out of ya.
But for Mike Tyson - the truth is nothing to be ashamed of.
Quite the opposite, in fact! In an interview, Mike discusses how he's taken up a vegan lifestyle, and how it has made him feel like a brand new man!!
Here's what Mike said:

We previously mentioned that Steve-O went vegan!!
The reason has something to do with drug use, voices in his head and karmic justice!
What can we say, he's a complicated person.
But all it took was one video about karma and spirituality to turn him all around.
