Hell hath no fury like Ellen Pompeo feeling misrepresented!
The Grey’s Anatomy star shaded the blood alcohol out of Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Tuesday after their show’s Twitter account focused on a vapid portion of her appearance on Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk.
As we reported, the conversation covered a wide range of topics, including an enlightening and honest discussion about race. But like many other outlets, Today instead decided to focus on the *juicy* portion of the interview where Pompeo revealed that she hadn’t spoken to costar Patrick Dempsey since he left Grey’s(!).

Feeling discouraged that the NBC outlet put clickbait-y TV gossip before issues of actual importance, the 49-year-old decided to redirect the conversation… while also giving Kathie Lee and Hoda’s followers something else to gossip about.
She tweeted:

And on the same day Kathie Lee announced she was leaving the show!!
