As a philanthropist and AIDs activist, Alicia Keys has been using her Grammy award-winning talent and fame to do some real good in the world. She even co-founded "Keep a Child Alive," an organization that has raised millions to care for HIV/AIDS patients in Africa and India!

Prince Harry is all about doing good these days, and we couldn't be happier to see him do it.
Just the other day we were talking about how he's taken the reigns in Princess Diana's land mine clearing charity — and now we're hearing that he has also mentioned her while talking about another project, which hopes to raise £2.5 million to build the Mamohato Centre, which will provide psychological care and peer mentoring for children and young people with HIV/AIDS.

Alicia Keys just put together the new public information campaign, EMPOWERED to teach women about HIV/AIDS, and she couldn't have done anything better.
The movement is set to be released on the National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, which is March 10 and will use public service ads to get in contact with communities.
With about 280,000 people in the US living with HIV, the singer wanted to reach out to women because the female race is the majority of individuals living with the virus.

The blueprint focuses on preventing the spread of the disease and making sure treatment is able to reach those who need it.
