UPDATE 5:10 P.M. EST: EgyptAir retracted their statement that plane wreckage has been found; Greek officials say the debris in question "does not come from a plane."
UPDATE 12:56 P.M. EST: Searchers in the Mediterranean Sea have found the wreckage of Flight MS804, according to EgyptAir Vice President Ahmed Adel.
Early Thursday morning, an EgyptAir passenger plane went missing while it was traveling from Paris to Cairo.
It's said that the flight took off around 11:09 p.m. CEST and vanished from the radar about 10 miles into the Egyptian airspace while cruising at an altitude of 37,000 feet.
It has since been stated by the French government that the flight has crashed, though EgyptAir has yet to confirm.
