Stephen Hawking Wants To Be A Bond Villain! Seriously!!

no title

Famed physicist Professor Stephen Hawking isn't unfamiliar with the world of movies.

Sure, his mind is often on bigger or infinitely smaller things (quantum physics style) but he still cares about movies!

He must've been so excited when his biopic The Theory of Everything came out!

That must've gotten him thinking about appearing onscreen himself! Like as a Bond villain, perhaps?

Hawking told Wired magazine:

Michael Fassbender Is Your New Steve Jobs After The Feared Stalled Biopic Moves To Universal!

no title

If anyone would know how to manipulate circuity and metal into an iPod, it'd be Magneto! Okay, Steve Jobs too, we guess.

It was less than a week ago that Sony Pictures dropped the Aaron Sorkin-penned Steve Jobs biopic, but Universal Pictures has just swooped in and picked it right up!

It's like the movie had under 10% battery life, and then your bestie who borrowed your charger admitted he lost it, but then someone just whipped out a new charger! And that person was… Michael Fassbender.

That's right, instead of a Christian Bale Jobs, Michael will be playing the part of the late Apple co-founder!

We're just so glad an actor finally committed to the part. With Danny Boyle attached to direct, you just know it's going to be incredible.

Congrats to Michael, and congrats to Universal! Congrats to us too! This movie is sure to amaze, and we'd gladly wait outside for a ticket as long as would for a 6 Plus!

The Steve Jobs Movie Has Been Dropped Like An iPhone! Is It All Because Christian Bailed Out?

"Let me say this in a way you'll understand. No Christian Bale?! NO MOVIE!!"

At least that's how we imagine it went down over at Sony.

After Christian bailed on the project, it looks like the Steve Jobs biopic is no more.

The film, which was written by Newsroom creator Aaron Sorkin and was set to be directed by Slumdog Millionaire's Danny Boyle, has been put in turnaround.

That's a Hollywood euphemism for "not being worked on anymore."

Even with names like Michael Fassbender, Jessica Chastain, and Seth Rogen mentioned in relation to the biopic, it looks like the project has run out of battery power.

The movie sounded like a winner, so who knows? Maybe it'll find its feet somewhere else.

Who would've thought that Lifetime's biopic Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B could've caused so much controversy?

The film has basically had issues since its inception, with Aaliyah's family totally not being cool with the movie. They didn't let a single song of hers appear in the film.

The family wasn't the only ones showing their disapproval, though… Aaliyah's former music producer and mentor Timbaland was OUTRAGED.

He was depicted in the film and must not have been happy with the results because he went NUTS on Instagram after the movie's Saturday debut.

He started by sharing a poster for the movie and wrote:

Michael Fassbender Is The Next Rumored Contender To Play Steve Jobs After Christian Bale Bailed!

no title

We hope this rumor is true!

Michael Fassbender is now the THIRD actor who MIGHT play Steve Jobs in Danny Boyle's new biopic, Jobs!

[ Related: Seth Rogen Will Play The Steve Wozniak In Sony's Biopic! ]

Danny, who directed hits like Slumdog Millionaire and 28 Days Later, has already vetted Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale for the iconic role.

According to sources, Fassbender is "in talks" to play Jobs, who sadly passed away in 2011.

We're tired of all this talk–we really hope an actor commits to the role soon!

So, do YOU think Michael would make a good Steve Jobs?

Christian Bale Drops The Steve Jobs Biopic! Will The Movie Shatter Like An iPhone Screen??

This Steve Jobs biopic is a lot like iTunes- everything seems fantastic, and then we get another update that ruins everything!

In the latest bad news for the untitled project, Christian Bale has reportedly dropped out as the lead!

[ Related: Man Suffers Explosion In Pants & Not The Good Kind! ]

We previously reported that screenwriter Aaron Sorkin had confirmed Christian as the late Apple co-founder, but it seems things have changed.

According to the latest reports, the Dark Knight star went through a long deliberation process over the film but ultimately decided he just wasn't right for the part.

And this is after Leonardo DiCaprio also passed after showing a lot of early interest.

Seth Rogen is currently in negotiations to play Jobs' partner Steve Wozniak, but we could see how not having Christian Bale on board might cause him to think different too.
