Brooklyn is just scooping up all the sports teams!

They stole the Nets from New Jersey and now they're taking the Islanders from Long Island in 2015!

That is if the lockout ever ends and there still is hockey in 2015. LOLz!

Apparently, the Islanders' old stadium, the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, is falling apart.

So they'll be moving to Barclays Center in Brooklyn!

The Shawn Carter Foundation is one lucky foundation, because proceeds from auctioning off ten limited-edition Carter 4 Nets jerseys, autographed by Jay-Z, will be going straight to them!

The auctions will be up and running as of today, and will be lasting for two weeks and ending on Halloween. This is all happening right after Jay-Z unveiled the new Nets jerseys during one of his 8 sold out shows at their new Barclays Center!

The Globetrotters dribbled PINK basketballs across the entire Brooklyn Bridge just to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness, ending with an announcement (not self-proclaimed) that October 7 as “Harlem Globetrotters Day!"

Penn Badgley was spotted out for a bike ride recently.

He was in NYC on his way into Brooklyn, biking over the Williamsburg Bridge.

The paps must've spotted him and chased him down.

We guess they were in a car or were serious track stars.

Either way, we're glad they were there because Penn is looking fiiiine! All that biking must be what keeps him in tip top shape!

Way to keep it fit, Penn!

The New Jersey Nets have moved to New York, becoming the Brooklyn Nets.

And Kris Humphries is moving with them.

He just signed a two year, $24 million contract!

That shiz cray!

Humphries' agent said:

"Kris Humphries is excited to play for the new cool team… the Brooklyn Nets."

Why $24,000,000 for Kim Kardasian's ex-lover??

Last season he averaged career-bests in points (13.8) and rebounds (11) per game.

We sometimes forget that he's more than that guy in the lawsuit with Kimmy K.

He's a talented basketball player too!

Oh no!

What happened?

Anne Hathaway was spotted walking through Brooklyn with her fiance Adam Shulman in a pretty hat, pulled low and her arm in a sling!

We knew she was hurt, as we previously mentioned, but we didn't know how badly.

She's got her cast all dressed up in a pretty sling, so at least she's being festive with her injury, which means it can't be too awful, right?

She's not saying how she hurt it, so we hope it's nothing serious and that she's not in pain.

Also, we apologize for the corny Ca(s)t-woman joke. (Because she's playing Cat-woman in The Dark Knight Rises! Get it??)
