Deep Fried Cereal? Why Not?

Deep Fried Cereal

They're deep frying everything, so why would anyone think they've hit a limit??

The newest abomination: deep fried cereal!

Charlie Boghosian is a pioneer when it comes to frying stuff that shouldn't be fried. He's a man of conviction, and a man of no boundaries.

This year at the San Diego County Fair, he's debuting Totally Fried Cereal, in Trix and Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors.

You might remember Charlie as the madness behind last year's deep-fried Kool-Aid balls. If not, then you're probably pretty healthy.

Ha!

Where will it end??

Barry Bonds Found GUILTY!

Bonds found guilty

It didn't look good for the home run king from the start, but Barry Bonds was convicted by a federal jury of obstruction of justice Wednesday.

Witnesses say the former San Francisco Giant's player, who holds the record for most career home runs and most in a single season, showed no emotion when the verdict was read.

Unfortunately for the prosecution, but fortunately for Bonds, it doesn't appear as if this verdict means too much and he may get off much easier than anticipated.

Out of 4 possible charges facing bonds, a jury could only unanimously decide on finding him guilty of obstruction, while they remained deadlocked on the other 3 steroid charges, prompting the defense to ask for a mistrial.

The prosecution insists on a sentencing date, during which Bonds could face up to 10 years in prison, but others with similar offenses have only received a few months in prison, if prison at all.

The prosecution said in a statement:

"In the United States, taking an oath and promising to testify truthfully is a serious matter. We cannot ignore those who choose instead to obstruct justice. We will decide whether to seek a retrial of the defendant on the remaining counts as soon as possible."

The judge presiding over the case has set a May 20 date for a "status conference", so only time will tell how the prosecution will move forward.

Hilary Swank Hikes!

Hilary Swank gets inspired while hiking

How does Academy Award winner Hilary Swank get inspired to succeed?

HIKING!

The actress says she regularly goes hiking in the Hollywood Hills with her dogs and often thinks of good ideas because her mind is clear.

Maybe all that hiking is how she keeps her stunning figure as well!

The Conviction star, who was raised in a trailer park, recently revealed how her upbringing has made her appreciate the good things in life, saying:

"You hear people say, 'Oh, I didn't get that bonus,' or, 'I got fired.' And look, I've experienced not getting that bonus and I've gotten fired. I feel it and say, 'That sucks.' I get depressed. I cry. I have feelings. I don't gloss over them. But then, after that, I pick myself up, brush myself off and say,' Why did this happen? What am I supposed to learn?' "

That's such a drama-free and refreshing attitude to hear from a celebrity and might be why Hilary is so successful!

Hilary Swank Gained 15 Pounds For Role In Conviction

Hilary Swank Gained 15 Pounds For Role In Conviction

Hilary Swank is going all out for her role in the movie Conviction, and has even put on 15 pounds to fit into her character.

Said Hilary:

“I personally have difficulty keeping weight on, and for this role I had to add 15 lbs. My character, a single mom, hadn't any opportunity to stay fit. For my own needs, I like working out.“

To gain the weight, Hilary did the obvious — eat more and not exercise:

"But to gain weight I stopped that. Besides, this was an independent film. Small budget. We filmed long hours, long days. No time to work out. Normally I only eat until I'm full. On this shoot, I kept eating more. Even when I was full, I'd eat more. With nowhere to go, the weight stays on you."

It sounds like it was almost a challenge for her to gain the weight, so it will probably take no time to lose it when the time comes!
