Dates are amazing!!! They are high in iron, fiber and calcium, and give this loaf cake its rich and sweet texture with no added sugar. Its been said that a date-a-day is good for your health, now you can have your date-cake, and eat it too! This recipe is fast and easy and is as delicious for breakfast as it is dessert!

13 ounces dates, pitted and chopped
1 cup coffee, super hot
1 tablespoon crushed ginger
1 cup self rising flour (if you don't have self rising, make your own using 1 cup flour, 1 1/3 teaspoons baking powder and 1/3 teaspoon salt)

Add dates to bowl, and cover with hot coffee. Let soak overnight, or until soft. Smash dates with fork, add flour and ginger, then stir until well combined. Pour into well-greased loaf pan and bake at 320 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with your favorite preserves or butter, and enjoy!

We're glad to see the happy couple is still going strong!

Russell Brand, being the gentleman that he is, opened the door for his lovely date — his yoga mat — and made sure to carry it delicately to their destination, which was either a beautiful restaurant or a yoga studio. We're not sure which, and nobody has told us specifically.

We hope it was the restaurant, because every once in a while you just gotta treat yourself and your significant other right! Ha!

IF it was the yoga studio, though, at least they got some fitness in! Though, we hope Russell uses protection before he gets on top.

Sadly, we previously mentioned that Jovan Belcher, a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs, killed himself after killing his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins.

We reported that the 25-year-old man shot his girlfriend several times early Saturday morning, but we didn't know why.

After the shooting, he drove to the team's practice facility where managers tried to talk him down.

He killed himself as the police arrived.

We've found out that he apparently got into an argument with his girlfriend when she returned home late from a Trey Songz concert

Nestle is recalling Nesquik!

Nesquik, the tasty chocolate powder, might be contaminated with Salmonella so it's being recalled.

The recall affects the 10, 21 and 40 ounce packages.

Wow. This just goes to show you can never believe a single thing any celeb ever says EVER!

Okay, well maybe that's an overstatement but seriously, Kris Humphries has done nothing but swear he never dated Myla Sinanaj and claim she was nothing more than a booty call.

Well he def called recently because the two were spotted on video doing the walk of shame back from her place to her car.

Myla was deposed for the Kim Kardashian and Kris divorce trial and she swore, under oath, that she wasn't pregnant with his child and Kris never spoke to her about the divorce at all.

Seems a little fishy… the two of them spending hours in her house and then refusing to talk to a paparazzi.

We wonder what's going on between these two…

Robin Roberts has already made her way back to GMA!

She caught up with her co-hosts and updated everyone on how she's doing, saying:

"My needle was past E when I left here a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve got a full tank, so watch out."

After being diagnosed with a rare blood disease she announced she'd be undergoing a bone marrow transplant.

She left in the middle of a show recently and was spending time just resting up and undergoing bone marrow transplant pre-treatment.

Her blood count is up and she's been feeling well enough to come back to the show for a few weeks until she has to take a long hiatus for the actual surgical procedure.

We wish her nothing but the best!
