This time, the breaking news isn’t FROM Savannah Guthrie, it's ABOUT her!!

The lovely Today anchor’s joyful news was tweeted to the world by co-anchor Matt Lauer this morning in the form of a picture. The pic shows Savannah’s bright, beaming smile matching her bright, beaming engagement ring!!

Whoa! This is MUCH bigger than the Lufthansa heist in Goodfellas!!

A skilled team of crooks scored big last night, stealing around $50 mil worth of diamonds from a Belgian airport!

Eight hooded thieves with automatic weapons busted into the airport, raided the tarmac, and halted a Swiss-bound passenger plane hiding a little sumpin' sumpin' in the cargo hold!

They broke into the back of the Helvetic Airways Fokker 100 jet, nabbed the perezcious minerals that had come from the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, and fled the airport with the loot!

No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

Law enforcement apparently don't know where the newly rich dudes/dudettes are hiding out, but they describe the thieves as "professionals" and the diamonds as "rough stones" so who knows if they'll ever get caught!!

Was it an inside job? Was it a group of crazed Rihanna fans looking to shine bright like a diamond?

But also the law!

In California, the woman must return the engagement ring if the split is her doing or mutual.

But something tells us that Britney Spears gave Jason Trawick the $90k rock without even thinking of the legalities… cuz you know, she's classy like that.

And nooo… Jason didn't ask for it either. She handed him the 3.5-carat Neil Lane stunner all her own — that or one of her assistants did.

We're still in mourning over this split, y'all. 2013 bummer!

The 86 year-old legend and his 26 year-old bride are super-duper serious about tying the knot before 2012 is kaput! Their wedding license is ready and everything!

Former Playmate Crystal Harris, who already goes by Crystal Hefner on Twitter, posted a picture of her fancy-schmanzy new bling-encrusted ring (above) and it looks gorgeous on her glamourous little digit!!

His betrothed's round-cut beauty has additional little diamonds sparkling around the band like they were Robert Pattinson in direct sunlight!

We love it!

Hopefully their wedding will be hitch-free this time!

We wish them decades and decades of marital bliss!!

Is Octo-Mom taking thieving lessons from LiLo?!

Celebrity Boxing founder Damon Feldman this so!

He has a bone to pick with Nadya "Octo-Mom" Suleman, whom he swears she stole failed to return his 1.5 carat diamond engagement ring valued at $7,500!

Damon says she borrowed it after their self-proclaimed publicity stunt earlier this year.

He pretended to propose to her, slipped the diamond ring on her finger, and they faked an engagement. The expectation, however, was that she would return the ring within a few weeks.

According to the report Damon filed with local PD, that never happened.
