R.I.P.

This is so sad.

Last week, we learned that Scott Weiland's untimely death was brought about because of an overdose related to MDA, cocaine, and alcohol.

But on Monday, the guys from the Stone Temple Pilots decided to honor their former frontman's memory in a more positive light, with an emotional video tribute.

Robert DeLeo, Dean DeLeo, and Eric Kretz shared a captivating clip of themselves listening to the multi-track recording of their song Atlanta.

They wanted to feature the 16-year-old power ballad because it was one of the late rocker's most incredible vocal performances, saying:

"Recently the three of us sat down together to share our memories of Scott and take a moment to reflect on the amazing times we shared. We put the master up of a song called Atlanta from the No. 4 record that we feel really highlights the true brilliance of Scott. We would like to share it with you. Together let's honor Scott…Memories of Candles and Incense. Having the opportunity to listen to these tracks individually reveal the beauty of Scott's lyrical and melodic gift. This is one of the many musical moments we shared together. It is in this way we would like to remember Scott."

Take a look at the touching tribute (below):

We hope he's able to get better.

We hope Lamar Odom is able to make a full recovery after he was found unconscious at Love Ranch brothel last month.

Unfortunately, the 36-year-old reportedly suffered a dozen strokes while being treated for his drug overdose. Insiders had said he might "never be the same" because of the organ damage, and now Kim Kardashian West is echoing that concern.

On Friday, the reality star told Ryan Seacrest that her brother-in-law still has a lot of progress to make before he can truly get better, saying:

"He's here and he's alive, but to say it's not a long road and to say he's fully better is not the truth either. He has a lot of work to do and a lot of communication therapy and having to learn to walk again and to talk again. You never know if he'll ever be the same again."

And even though Khloé Kardashian and her husband aren't rekindling their romantic relationship, North West's momma explained that the NBA forward is still a huge part of their famous family, adding:

"Lamar is family and he'll always be family, we'll always do what we can to help take care of him, and protect him, and be there for him. It's a really unfortunate, sad situation all the way around the board, and I just encourage people to keep on praying because the road is nowhere near over."

While Lamar isn't out of the woods just yet, we're glad he's got such a strong support system during this tough time.

Autopsy Reveals Super Bowl Champion Tyler Sash Died From Overdosing On Pain Medication

The report says he died from a mixture of two highly addictive drugs.

This is so sad.

Last month, football player Tyler Sash was found dead at his home in Oskaloosa, Iowa. At the time, police didn't suspect foul play, but the Iowa State Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy to determine his cause of death.

On Tuesday, the examiner announced the results, explaining that the 27-year-old died from "an accidental mixed drug toxicity involving methadone and hydrocodone."

Reports say the two drugs are not only used to relieve pain, but are also highly addictive. According to authorities, Tyler had a prescription for the hydrocodone, but they aren't sure how he had the other narcotic.

The report also showed that some "significant conditions" of his death included the New York Giants safety's history of chronic shoulder pain, as well as a recent shoulder dislocation.

The medical examiner will also be running more tests to figure out whether or not the Super Bowl champion suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which is a "brain disease caused by repetitive trauma that has been found in several former NFL players."

Officials say these new test results could take eight to ten months, but aren't saying anything else about the exam. In fact, they aren't even releasing where it will happen.

It's always sad to lose someone, especially so young. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.
