Gerard Depardieu isn't the most desirable man on the planet — from peeing in the aisle on an airplane to becoming a Russian citizen to escape tax trouble, he just isn't what anyone would call a "cool" or "not gross" dude! LOLz!

We were in a position to agree with everyone, until we saw the picture of him smoking (above)!

WOW! Right?? Totally changes your stance on how cool he is! Smoking usually makes everyone look awful, but we gotta say, it looks FAB on a man who urinated in some place other than a bathroom on a plane (we can't stop stressing that he did that)!

Obviously we're joking — no matter what unsavory things you've done, we wouldn't wish a smoking habit on anyone! It's unhealthy and disgusting and we would hope people would know that! NOBODY WANTS CANCER, so what's the point??

Anywho, he was giving an interview to some French journalists when he decided to spark up!

If he isn't wearin' grills and peein' in pools, Ryan Lochte is probably crushin' on some Hollywood starlets — mainly Blake Lively!

The OTHER Ryan probably should watch out!

Here's what Lochte said:

"Right now, Blake Lively. She is gorgeous. I would be like, 'Hi', I'd be like. 'You want to go to an island with me?'"

Um… really?

Gotta work on that line, Ryan — we're not sure any women would ever respond positively to that!

Also, ditch the grill.

Sure, there are those folks out there that pee all over the place and don't clean it up, but do they really have to ruin it for the rest of us??

The Sormland County Council in Sweden, and the Left Party, are pushing for legislation that would designate “sit only” public restrooms — our question is, how will they enforce this?

Crazily, there are similar movements happening in Germany, France and Holland.

Weirder things have happened (NYC soda ban, anyone?), so who's to say that we aren't next?

They're not just campaigning under the idea that cleaning up pee is gross, but rather that it's more sanitary for men to begin with! They're also saying that urinating while sitting on a toilet so the bladder empties more effectively.

Here's what John Gamel, a professor at the University of Louisville, had to say about it in 2009:

“Men scatter urine not so much during the actual urination as during the ‘shaking off’ that follows. As a result, forcing men to sit while emptying their bladders will serve little purpose, since no man wants to shake himself off while remaining seated on the toilet.”

Ugh.

Just let'em continue to stand.

Besides, how is sitting on the dirty toilet more hygienic than standing anyway??

A recent survey by the Water Quality and Health Council found that literally 20% of Americans have confessed to using a pool as a toilet!

YUCK!

For #1 only as far as the study is concerned.

Another surprisingly gross statistic is that 70% of people jumped right in without showering beforehand.

We didn't know anyone showered before going in a pool.

Apparently sweat, cosmetics, sunscreen, perfume, hair stuff, etc. can mix with chlorine to create irritants that cause skin rashes and red eyes.

So it's not the chlorine itself that does that! It's the gross people you're swimming with!

So shower before and after swimming, make sure kids have water-proof diapers and please please PLEASE stop peeing in the pool!!!

Well… they might have.

Pop sensation One Direction is currently touring Australia and New Zealand.

While there they visited a zoo and got the chance to cuddle with a cute koala!

But the 3-year-old Koala played a prank on the boys and took a pee right on them!

Normally this would be just a funny, gross inconvenience — until the boys learned that 80% of koalas have chlamydia!!

OMG!

The boys actually stood a chance to contract the disease when the koala peed on them!

Good thing koala chlamydia is different from human chlamydia. Although there's always the chance the koala could have the rare strain that humans can contract.
