Imagine if Zero Dark Thirty ran into Oz the Great and Powerful at Chili's happy hour.
They sip on margaritas, rehash a few exaggerated stories from the old neighborhood, and munch on some bottomless chips & salsa together. Half an hour later, a buzz sets in. Zero opens up about a middle school crush and Oz immediately orders two shots of Patron. Fast forward a few hours and Zero's staring up at the ceiling of Oz's unimpressive studio, pinned down to the bed by the weight of his heavy arm, wondering how it all went so wrong.
Nine months later Zero gives birth to a cute, screaming bundle of joy!!
If that happened, we imagine the baby would look like Tar!
Ch-ch-check out the trailer (above)!
The flick, based upon CK Williams' series of Pulitzer Prize-winning poems, combines Daddy's rock-solid strengths (James Franco, Zach Braff, & Mila Kunis) with Mommy's delightful red hair (Jessica Chastain)!
We aren't sure how well an anthology of poems will translate onto the big screen, but the cast is stellar and we're willing to give it a shot!
Tar opens all across the U.S. on December 1st.
