Jennifer Hudson memoir

Singer, actress, and now author! What's next for this amazingly talented woman?

After loosing 80 pounds over the last two years, Jennifer Hudson is finally sharing her secret to success.

She has signed a deal with a publisher to write a book detailing her "experience growing up in an environment where healthy living was not a priority" and also touch on her weight issues while competing in American Idol.

According to a statement from the publisher:

"Jennifer wants to inspire anyone coping with weight issues, share some of her own best tips for losing and maintaining weight loss, fitting in exercise and keeping it fun."

We think this is a great idea because we think her story will inspire others from a similar background to find the courage to begin their own journey toward a healthier lifestyle.

Jennifer has been through so much in her life and achieved SO MUCH success, we definitely want to hear what she has to say!

No doubt there will be at least one chapter dedicated to her infamous Oscar speech! LOLZ!

Publishers Simon & Schuster announced this morning that they are forging ahead with plans to publish Melissa Leo's memoir. Her book will cover everything from her many years in the industry to her childhood to her relationship with John Heard, which was nothing short of chaotic, even from the outside.

We're intrigued. We're sure she has a very, oh how should we put this delicately - a very "expletive" tone to her prose. HA!

Steve Jobs will be allowing a biography to be released via Simon & Schuster publishing about the Apple CEO's life, to be titled iSteve: The Book of Jobs, and written by Walter Isaacson, with a 2012 release!

Apparently, the author has previously written biographies, but only for already-deceased folks like Albert Einstein and Ben Franklin. However, he's been hard at work on the Jobs project since 2009, and has had complete access to his friends and family.

So we guess that means we'll know all about his health scares then! Inneresting!

Could be worth a read! We imagine he's had a pretty fascinating life!

What do U think?? Do U want to read The Book of Jobs??

Hey Archie Fans! Kevin Keller Is Getting His Own Mini-Series!

Oh man! This is excellent news!

Archie comics introduced their readers to Kevin Keller last year, an openly gay teen who ended up prompting almost universal accolades from fans and critics alike, and now, it's being reported that the character will be getting his own four-part miniseries this summer!

Publisher Dan Parent will be writing the comics, which will focus on Kevin's journey before coming out to his friends and family, as well as his positive relationship with his father, as well as his relationships with the other characters in the Archie universe!

According to the San Francisco Chronicle:

“There have been gay characters in other comics, but Keller's role as a friend to Archie, Veronica and the others at Riverdale High is part of the company's push to keep them relevant and contemporary.”

Amazing! And it's clearly working!

The first Veronica comic with him in it sold out completely! It's unreal!

We're so thrilled that the minds behind Archie have taken such positive steps toward bringing a normal, well-adjusted and likable gay teen to the forefront of their stories, and we're excited to see what will come from them with this new mini-series!

Clearly, it's resonating with people and helping confused young people come to terms with parts of themselves that they might not yet understand!

Congrats, guys!
