Roseanne Barr Is 'Seriously Considering' Cutting Herself Out Of ABC's Roseanne Spinoff Financially!

Roseanne Barr doesn't want to be the villain anymore!

A source close to the disgraced sitcom star said she is "seriously considering" forgoing any profits from a potential Roseanne spinoff because she feels so bad for getting the show canceled with her racist Ambien tweeting.

As we've reported, ABC has been toying with the idea of a spinoff that focuses on another family member in hopes of salvaging the ratings powerhouse without its controversial star.

Many critics rejected this idea, however, noting that creator Roseanne would still profit from the Roseanne-less reboot. For that reason, former showrunner Whitney Cummings even said this new version would be "a bad move."

But it looks like Ro really does feel bad about making the cast and crew lose their jobs — because she's now apparently open to cutting herself out of the spinoff completely!

A source close to the actress says she's "hunkered down" with her parents in Utah at the moment and just wants to help the people who suffered at the hands of her sometimes racist fingers, dishing:

Next Indiana Jones May Be A Woman, According To Steven Spielberg!

A female Indiana Jones? Could be!

In a new interview with The Sun, Steven Spielberg confirmed the planned Indy 5 "will be Harrison Ford's last" but he does say the franchise "will certainly continue after that."

But if another archaeologist adventurer is going to take up the mantle and the nickname, why not a woman? Spielberg is down! He said:

"We'd have to change the name from Jones to Joan. And there would be nothing wrong with that."

Um… that's not how last names work. LOLz!

Spielberg puts his money where his mouth is when it comes to feminism though, as he's used his power on his last two films, The Post and Ready Player One, to ensure pay equality between the male and female leads. So maybe this really will happen!

Ch-ch-check out our list (below) to see which other films we think could work rebooted with a female cast…

Roseanne Reboot Tackles Dan's Death, Right-Wing Politics, & Gender Fluidity — And Twitter Is DIVIDED! Recap Here!

ABC's Roseanne reboot premiered Tuesday night, and boy, are the people divided!

While the Conners' old, beaten down couch is the same, the members of America's favorite blue collar family has grown: Roseanne is now a Trump-supporting grandma! Darlene has a gender fluid kid! Dan isn't dead!

Though many fell under the spell of network nostalgia, a number of Twitics just couldn't get past the title character's political beliefs. But defenders argued that Roseanne refreshingly showed a family on both sides of the political spectrum — which we saw in the premiere, as Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) and Roseanne have been divided ever since the election.

Echoing the opinions of the woman who plays her, Roseanne voted for Trump because he talked about jobs "on the real news." Jackie, on the other hand, was so freaked out by her fights with her sister, she ended up voting for Jill Stein instead of Hillary Clinton!

Pushing politics aside, (which Twitter could NOT do — but we'll get to that in a minute) a lot happened in the two-episode premiere. Becky (Lecy Goranson) is back and hoping to become a surrogate for a woman named Andrea (Sarah Chalke, AKA Becky 2).

Darlene (Sara Gilbert) told everyone she came home to take care of her parents, but really she's
