If you were one of the hundred million people watching the Super Bowl last Sunday, you probably remember the blackout.

There was a 33-minute stoppage due to many of the lights in the stadium suddenly shutting off.

It was sudden, confusing and really had everyone wondering just how did this actually happen.

To quote Ravens QB Joe Flacco:

"How the hell does this happen?"

Ha! Our thoughts exactly!

While many players hopped on exercise bikes and started stretching to stay warm, Ravens coach John Harbaugh tried to keep his team rallied, saying:

At least three people — some are reporting five — are in critical condition after being shot in the lobby of an office building on Glendale Avenue in Phoenix, AZ.

Police are currently searching for the gunman — a white male — who remains at large, and those injured have been transported to a nearby hospital.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson of the Phoenix Police Department states:

"At this point we don’t believe he is in the area. This doesn’t appear to be a random type of incident."

The shooting took place moments after former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords gave an inspiring introductory speech at a congressional hearing for gun control (above).

Gabby was one of the unfortunate victims of a shooting spree that occured in 2011 in Tucson, and has first hand experience when it comes to the horror that guns can inflict.

So, so sad.

Our thoughts are with those who are currently suffering due to this terrible incident in Phoenix.

Marriage is everyone's issue, because there are humans out there not getting equal rights reflected by the government (be it federal or state). If you love humanity, this is your issue.

Obama's inaugural speech yesterday blew us away, especially when he spoke about gay marriage in a way that filled the community with hope and pride. Unfortunately, the White House seems to be less adamant about granting a right that everyone should have.

If you don't recall, the President said that:

"Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law – for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well."

Seeeeeriously, that's amazeballs!
