HBO Showing Springsteen Documentary

HBO has announced that they will air The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town, a documentary that shows Bruce Springsteen making his fourth album.
The movie follows The Boss’ work after the release of Born to Run in 1975 to Darkness in 1978. It came during a time that he was not even allowed to record music due to a lawsuit with his former manager, Mike Appel. Footage includes clips from rehearsals and recent commentary from Springsteen and his band.
“The fact that this footage has been sitting in a vault, and no one has seen it for more than 30 years is just extraordinary,” said Richard L. Plepler, co-president of HBO.
It is set to air in October. Will U be watching?
