Travis Kelce had “mixed feelings” during his latest high-profile date night with Taylor Swift!
The lovebirds were seen showing off tons of PDA on Monday night as they watched the New York Yankees face off in playoff baseball against the Cleveland Guardians in the Big Apple during Game 1 of MLB‘s American League Championship Series. The game came during a bye week for the Kansas City Chiefs player, giving him and TayTay lots of time to hang out before she restarts her Eras Tour later this week.

At the game, they were seen hanging with friends, including comedian Jerrod Carmichael. Along with cheering on the players and Travis explaining the game to the pop star, they could be seen cuddling, kissing, sharing drinks, and snacking on popcorn. It looked so fun, and they were being so sweet together the whole evening in matching black outfits. Revisit it all (below):

Cute!
So, why was Trav feeling so conflicted??
On Wednesday’s episode of his New Heights podcast, the tight end revealed:
“It was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody. All our friends … came. We had an unbelievable crew with us and hanging with us. It was fun.”
But the problem was that he was cheering for the away team!!! He dished:
“It’s the Bronx Bombers, and I’m at Yankee Stadium and the playoffs, and I’m over here cheering for the Guards ’cause I’m a Cleveland kid and I want to see Cleveland win a f**king World Series.”
Ahh! That makes sense! Cheering for the other team is always gonna be a little awkward, and the Super Bowl champ said it was clear that he was in “hostile territory” the whole time. No wonder he had mixed feelings! But despite his favorite team losing 5-2 on that night, tho, he still enjoyed himself! He added:
“Even though the Guards couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting game.”
It was also a bucket list activity for the Grotesquerie star, as he shared:
“It was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I always wanted to see that thing in person, in a playoff game, in a hostile environment, and it didn’t disappoint, man.”
He continued to gush:
“The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved, man, it was awesome.”
Fun!
We’re glad his “mixed feelings” weren’t about his girlfriend, though! We’d hate if he was starting to get uncomfortable with the public romance!
