Just because Spencer Pratt didn’t come out on top in the Los Angeles mayoral race doesn’t mean he’s packing up and heading home. If anything, the reality TV veteran may be entering an entirely new chapter — and according to fresh reports, it could involve none other than President Donald Trump. Yes, really!
For years, Spencer has remained a fixture in pop culture, constantly finding new ways to stay relevant long after his reality TV heyday. From social media ventures and podcasting to his well-known passion for crystals, he’s never exactly disappeared from public view. But according to reports making the rounds this week, politics may just become his most successful reinvention yet.

One source close to Pratt said this to Rob Shuter for his Naughty But Nice Substack blog on Tuesday:
“Spencer has tried everything to get back into the spotlight. Reality TV, social media, podcasts, crystals — you name it. Politics is the first thing that’s truly clicked.”
And now comes the part that has political insiders buzzing.
According to Shuter, Trump has allegedly taken notice of Pratt’s growing profile in political circles. One Republican source claimed:
“Trump loves fighters, and he thinks Spencer is one. The fact that Spencer became a serious political player impressed him enormously.”
Whoa! That’s certainly not a sentence many people expected to hear a few years ago!
Sources cited in the report claim that discussions about Pratt’s political future may already be underway. While nothing has been officially announced, insiders reportedly believe there is interest in finding a way to keep him involved in Republican politics moving forward.
One Trump ally pointed to other figures who remained influential after election losses, saying:
“Look at what happened with Dr. Oz. Losing an election didn’t end his political career. In Trump’s world, loyalty and star power matter.”
True…
And if this reports really is accurate, Pratt’s celebrity background could end up being an asset rather than a liability! Specifically, another source suggested Pratt’s media experience may be exactly what catches the administration’s attention:
“Trump thinks Spencer connects with people and understands media better than most politicians. Don’t be surprised if this leads to a government job.”
A government job? For Spencer Pratt?! Didn’t see that one coming a year or two ago!

Regardless, perhaps the most telling quote from the report came from an insider who sounded convinced that this story is far from over:
“Spencer isn’t going away. He thinks this is just the beginning — and so does Trump.”
Of course, it’s important to note that no official appointment has been announced, obvi. And there has been no public confirmation regarding any future role. Still, the mere possibility has people talking!
