And we don’t imagine that he’s going to stop anytime soon.
As you already know, Michael Douglas has been battling throat cancer for some time now. Right now, just to look at him, you can see he’s lost an enormous amount of weight from the chemo. In fact, we’re told that thus far, he has lost almost 40 pounds!
But when we saw the pictures of Michael’s vacation in Orlando, FL over Thanksgiving, we thought things had taken a turn for the better. According to sources, we were wrong.
The photos, though we kind of already figured, were staged for the cameras. Behind-the-scenes, attendants at the Walt Disney World Resort where Michael and his family were visiting noticed how frail he had really become. One source explained:
“He looked frail and sick… he most definitely looked like he needed the wheelchair.”
Aw. Poor guy. On the bright side, he was well enough to endure the plane ride down and back again. That onto itself is an accomplishment for someone going through such aggressive treatment.
The important thing is, he isn’t giving up. In fact, we even saw pictures of him walking his dog this week, so at least he is getting out and about.
We have faith that he is going to pull through this. He’s a tough guy with a great family supporting him and a lot to live for.
That, and modern medicine, should get him back to rare form in no time!
