We have a mini Taylor Swift situation on our hands!
Kanye West Tweeted the following on Friday about his new single with Jay-Z, H.A.M:
“H*A*M #2 on ITunes… THANK YOU!!!”
“@britneyspears: Yo britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and jay-z single is one of the best songs of all time.
Kanye later amended his Britney tweet to add “LOL” to the end of it.
In response, Britney’s manager, Adam Leber, tweeted this:
“@kanyewest Thanks for “letting” us be #1. Much appreciated….”
Then, Leber too added the LOLs!
A whiles later, Kanye deleted his original Britney Tweet and sent out this mea culpa:
I thought LOL signified a joke… I didn’t get the 2011 LOL doesn’t signify a joke anymore memo… LOL or something else I guess
On a serious note I’m truly happy for @AvrilLavigne and @BritneySpears… No hate in 2011!
Hopefully Kanye won’t hold it against Brit Brit and her manager.
Team Hold It Against Me or Team H*A*M?
P.S. Adding LOL at the end of a statement does not automatically make what you said before that acceptable.
