Such a smart – and classy – move, if we do say so ourself!
Kat Graham recently revealed that her FIERCE mash-up and accompanying music video of the Janet Jackson tracks Love Will Never Do (Without You) and Escapade was her way of paying tribute to the icon, who has influenced her heavily!
Kat tells the NY Post:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós a tribute to Janet, from me. It├óΓé¼Γäós not like I├óΓé¼Γäóm trying to take anyone out, I just wanted to say, ‘oh my god, I love you so much, let me pay my respects now.’ I know I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to get comparisons [to Janet] because of my whole acting, dancing, singing thing — so this is me taking the bull by the horns and thanking her first and foremost.”
Amazing! Janet has clearly been an influence on her and we think it’s a lovely – and catchy as hell – homage to all that she’s done, as a performer!
We DEFINITELY think that she’d approve, bb!
