What’s now being called GCB is prepped to make its midseason premiere this March on ABC, and although you may not realize, it’s the Kristin Chenoweth pilot that was first called Good Christian Bitches, and then Good Christian Belles!
According to producer Robert Harling:
“The use of the title raised a lot of eyebrows. When I started working on it, I sort of put that aside. This is where I live. I love these people …They understand that they are larger than life and they love that. It’s not a send-up. It’s more a celebration.”
Lame!
But at least it’s abbreviated now – which is a lot better than replacing bitch with belle!
