Sarah Hyland Opens Up About Her Role In Chris Colfer's Movie!

We should clarify – this is his FIRST movie Struck by Lighting! Overachiever’s also got a second one on the way!
Back in July, we learned that Glee star Chris Colfer wrote a movie called Struck by Lightning, in which he’ll star alongside Christina Hendricks, Dermot Mulroney, and Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland.
As we mentioned before, the movie’s story is about a boy flashing back to all his exploits after he’s struck by lightning.
Now, Sarah has opened up about her role in Chris’ movie. Here’s what she had to say about it:

“I play Claire, the head cheerleader. She does not like Chris’ character very much…But I’m playing a cheerleader. What else are cheerleaders? They’re mean!”

And here’s more from Sarah on whether or not she’ll be showing us some serious cheerleading skillz in the movie:

“They wanted me to do a pyramid and be on the top of it. I was like, ‘Not happening.’ I could not do it at all. I’m not athletic like that.”

Ha! And here’s Sarah’s real-life boyfriend Matt Prokop on his role in the movie:

“I play the stoner. I have a few good lines here and there and roll a joint or two.”

Coolio! Should be fun to see Sarah acting alongside her actual BF! We’re excited for this one!
