Chris Colfer and the rest of the Glee cast are keeping Naya Rivera’s memory alive and well for her son.
It’s mind blowing that this summer will already mark the five-year anniversary of Naya’s death, saving her son from drowning on Lake Piru. But thanks to her co-stars, little Josey is going to have a LOT of stories to read about his momma!

While on the red carpet of Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscar Party on Sunday, Chris told Parade the most beautiful, emotional, story about how the Glee crew have come together to preserve Naya’s memory for her son with Ryan Dorsey. He explained that Jenna Ushkowitz, who played Tina Cohen-Chang, “did this really beautiful thing where she created an email address” for the 9-year-old “so we could all send him stories about his mom.”
That is SO special! And SO thoughtful! Chris added:
“I’m getting emotional thinking [about] how she was just the greatest.”
We’re emotional, too! Who else needs tissues?! That email will be the greatest gift ever for Josey one day.
